Hi all, can anyone suggest anything to squeeze some more performance out of my system? fpsvr shown in picture? I'm using hp reverb and have reprojection enabled. Just wondering if i've missed any settings. DCS settings are set to vr option. Thanks

I've recently downloaded a few skins from the user files. After adding them via JSGME, a few of them appear as shown in the picture. Can anyone help resolve this?

HP REVERB Reprojection help needed
J3ST3R replied to J3ST3R's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Never mind, sorted it. -
Need some help, I'm getting alot of shaking when I move my head with the reverb. I've put it down to reprojection not being active. I cant get the reprojection to work or get the indicator box. this is what my file looks like in notepad. { "driver_Holographic" : { }, "driver_Holographic_Experimental": { // Motion reprojection doubles framerate through motion vector extrapolation // motionvector = force application to always run at half framerate with motion vector reprojection // auto = automatically use motion reprojection when the application can not maintain native framerate // disabled = turn off motion reprojection // // Comment out or remove this line to use the SteamVR settings for controlling motion reprojection "motionReprojectionMode" : "disabled", // Motion reprojection indicator to display the mode currently selected // green = off because application can render at full framerate // cyan = on because application is cpu bound // blue = on because application is gpu bound // red = off because application running at less than half framerate or motion reprojection disabled // // green + cyan + blue = motion reprojection half-framerate mode or application requested motion reprojection "motionReprojectionIndicatorEnabled" : false, // Motion indicator size and position in 0-1 space "motionReprojectionIndicatorSize": 0.015, "motionReprojectionIndicatorXPosition": 0.3125, "motionReprojectionIndicatorYPosition": 0.3125, // Some people may experience increased discomfort such as nausea, motion sickness, dizziness, // disorientation, headache, fatigue, or eye strain when using thumbstick controls in Windows Mixed Reality. // // Setting thumbstickControlsMoveEnabled to true may cause application compatibility issues "thumbstickControlsTurnEnabled": false, // true = use thumbsticks for artificial turn, false = default application thumbstick behavior "thumbstickControlsMoveEnabled": false, // true = use thumbsticks for artificial move, false = default application thumbstick behavior "thumbstickControlsReversed": false, "thumbstickTurnSmooth": false, "thumbstickDeadzone": 0.25, "thumbstickUseForSystemMenu": true, // During some transitions (typically entering Home), controller events start accumulate and the system has difficulties to catch up // Settings a mximum age for a contoller input allows ensuring that the events queue does not grow indefinitely "obsoleteStateMaxTimeInSeconds": 1.0, // Disable DX12 support "forceDisableDX12": false, // Feature still in development "enableSkeletalInput": true }, // If motionReprojectionMode is disabled, these applications will still respect SteamVR settings "MotionReprojectionDisabledExceptions" : { "hlvr.exe" : true }, "NoInterEyeRotation" : { "battlezone_dx11.exe" : true, "battlezone_dx12.exe" : true, "DOOMVFRx64.exe" : true, "Fallout4VR.exe" : true } }

Updated to the latest OB, now getting this problem. Antivirus says it has found a virus and deletes dcs.exe. Any help would be great
-
I was getting very long loading times as well as crashes to desktop. I did a complete reinstall of OB and it seems to have fixed the loading times back to what they were before the f14 update. This maybe just something with my machine but it won't for me. PC specs in my signature
-
Thats good to know. I for one, certainly appreciate the hard work you guys are putting in!
-
I'm also having this issue. All other aircraft are fine. No crashing to desktop. But I get in a tomcat on and within a minute or so, the game crashes with no warning.
-
Completely agree with you. Ive thought the same, seems like they've had to get it out the door as soon as possible. I know they'll sort it. The harrier and m2000 have excellent flight models and have no reason to think this will be any different.
-
Flight model Im no pilot and im not knocking Razbam at all but im pretty sure an aircraft, no matter what it is behaves like this when you rock the controls lol Track attached Mig19P 1.trk
-
Im not knocking RAZBAM at all. Just my 2 pence. Love the model, its great. Cockpit and external models are amazing. But, the flight model..... needs a bit of work in my opinion. Now i'm no pilot, however im pretty sure it shouldn't behave like this lol Track attached

PC restarting whilst running DCS
J3ST3R replied to J3ST3R's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Interesting discovery. So all of these crashes have been using the stable version. I've just flown for an hour over Dubai on OB and no crash. Not that I'm blaming dcs lol -
PC restarting whilst running DCS

So, I followed your advice. All drivers are up to date, disabled auto restart. After about 15-20mins of dcs, pc restarts. -

By bigger I meant an extra 100watts on what I have. But the RM850i is a 80+ gold lol -

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a look and come back to you. The 1st few restarts happened after I updated to the newest Nvidia drivers so backed dated it to the previous driver but the problem persisted. I've ordered a bigger power supply also, a corsair RM850i as I'll be upgrading everything over the coming 6 months -
PC restarting whilst running DCS

Hi all, I have an issue with my pc. Been running dcs for 5+ years and on my current setup for about 2 years. With the addition of the new gpu last year. Recently, im playing dcs, my pc will just restart. Ive checked all the temps and my cpu is averaging 55-60c whilst playing and the 1080ti is around 75-80 under load. There is an overclock involved but I have removed that and get the same results. Im not getting any error messege etc, just a restart. Anyone got any ideas as to what is going on?
-
Me either, even the default settings, e.g heavy rain doesn't seem to work?
-
Ah I see. That makes sense. I wasn't throwing blame at any dev. Was more a question out of curiosity.
-
Hi all, not sure if this is a bug or not but thought I'd mention it as can't find the answer elsewhere. I was using the tpod during a night mission and on looking at the marker with nvg's, it shows as a very thin black line. I thought it was ment to be green? Is that right?
-
I am too. I've not managed to finish the 1st mission yet because dcs keeps crashing.
