Hi folks! I was wondering if in DCS the only system that provides us with radar contact information is the AWACS? Like if I put an EWR in place, will it act as a GCI? Otherwise I wonder whats the point of having EWR in the game. Thanks!

Absolutely right. We need a new modern conflict map before expanding a non conflict one. Besides as Wags said the map is complete with no plans for future expansion. Both f18 and f14 will be more enjoyed if we could use carriers, otherwise itll be wierd using them in the black sea map.

in my country they are hard to get, plus not very famous due to using pots (i know they are industrial pots). too expensive for pots peripheric

you need to wait a couple of minutes, the first time it takes very long to load

I Just noticed Wags has a TWCS on its build!!! LOL I wonder why would that be? Im very hesitating about getting this throttle but given the others also use pots makes me think i dont have much of a choice given the price range of the tm warthog.

Yeap, I know about pots jitter in time. But the fact that it is a throttle makes me think its not as bad as having pots on a stick. Almost 80% of throttles are with pots, the only throttle with hall sensors is the warthog. Do you agree?

I dont mind that much about the centering force rather than the force needed to overcome and move the stick from the center. For instance, the T-16000M looks like it makes a lot of force to get back to center, BUT does it require a lot of force to move FROM the center?

Hi! I agree with your insight. I am not looking to spend that much money in a single product. I do have the A-10C module but dont fly it anymore. I was trying to see if the choice of buying the TWCS was going to be good or not based on the quality and stuff I stated before. I was looking into the possibility of getting the 2x MFD Cougar pack and the TWCS.

I have the Sidewinder Precision 2. Ive had it for 24 years now and it performs like the very first day. The thing is that its so stiff to move that makes chopper flying so frustrating.

Nice point, so the spring is the thing. My x52 pro had an incredible loose feel where you could move the stick with just looking at it. Thats what im looking for. I know they will all tend to center but the thing is that for instance in choppers you need precise mini adjustments. The x52 felt that way, dont know why or how.
