I just heard About Lock on a month ago and Flaming Cliffs a week ago and Black shark a week ago too. So I feel lucky that I have not had ot wait. As long as its as good as a game as Lock on is than it will be worth the wait.

I am new to this game and Hyperlobby. I have a question about what version I need to play online. Hyperlobby pro V3.9.111 (local Copy) or hyperlobby pro V3.9.111 ( TXSQUADRON Mirror). I am not sure which one to download. Thanks :helpsmilie:

I had that game as well not sure if I still have the Cd's. From what I remember it was not compatable with XP?

Thanks for the help. I am still in the learning phase of this game. I got the pad lock to work and the trim advice help alot on the russian planes. I even landed on a Aircraft carrier! Anyone know how to take a screen shot? I ordered Flaming Cliffs from Amazon because Natural point said it was out of stock. I still have not made the jump to the Tracker its a little pricey. Frustration OMG! I should of checked Amazon. I bought two copies of Lock on from Ubi-soft one for me and one for my son for $19.99 each and I find it on amazon for $1.72 !! and they have the Gold edition for $18.88 ! AGH! I am kicking my self!:cry: I want flaming cliffs and I cant see paying another $18.88 for the same game twice just to get the add on. oh well live and learn :doh:

I must be missing somthing here. I am having a hard time figuring out how to padlock enemys. The PDF says its the Del key on the num pad but that dose not seem to work. I am also having a hard time getting taget locks with the easy radar on. It seems t owork only sometimes. I am not sure if this is a bug or not. I am also having a hard time flying the rusian planes. I can not figure out how to get the weapon systems to work. I have been using the 5,6,7 keys to switch between air ground mode and the D key to switch between different missle types but they do not seem to work for the russian planes. I am new to this game so please bear with me. I know you print a manual but its like 250 pages or so. I wish the game came with better documentation. I printed the key cards that tell you what the commands are for the keyboard but they do not tell you much about how to aquire a lock or what weapons are for what situation. Thanks:joystick: PS: I am interested in flaming cliffs but it seems you can only buy it from outside the USA and its a download only? My browser IE7 gives me Certifiacte warning when I try to folow the links. I already bought Lock on and do not want ot buy the Glod eddition just ot get flmaing cliffs since it would be like buying the same game twice. Well my son saw me playing and after he scooped his jaw off the floor I told him I would buy him his own copy of the game. He will need a proper Joystick and I was thinking of giving him my Saitek Cyborg EVO and would need to buy a replacement for me. Can anyone suggest a good joystick? One with rudder and throttle controls and USB. I am interested in Flaming cliffs but wanted to ask a few questions. Is it only for sale by Download? or can I get a copy that has a CD. Also I live in the USA and want to make sure it will work for my region. Well I got my copy today and just instaled the game. Patched it to v1.02 calibrated my joystick and was up and running. Hats off to the makers of this game. I can't remeber when I had more fun playing a PC game. It's a shame game developers have stoped making Simulation games. I will be buying Black Shark when it comes out. Now all I need is a good Tank Sim. :joystick:

Thanks got the demo to work! Once I figured out to hit "7" and turn on my ground weapons I was killing like I was born inside of a A10 cockpit. I was able to find a patch V1.02 where can I find 1.12a ? Thanks for your help and information. I cant wait to instal the full game tommarow.

I am new to this game (Lock -On Modern Combat) and this forum so any help would be appreciated. I purchased this game online and it should be here tomarow. I downloaded the demo and it plays fine other than I cant figure out how to shoot any of my weapons. I configured my joystic for the game and made sure that there were button/ keys assigned for the shoot and switch weapons key bindings. The game runs fine no graphic problems. Also when flying the A10 the MFD on the right of the cockpit did not seem to be functioning. All my other keys/ imput devices seem to be working. I can raise landing gear and so on.
