The missions are done for Part 2, just need to do all the queep like the story, briefings, ladder, etc.

If you turn on the AP altitude hold it's easier to connect. For me, the immersion-breaking factor isn't nearly as breaking as the difficulty factor. I'm already flying an F-15 that's not a study sim so I don't care about the immersion factor, I just want AARs to be more doable. I don't even want to know how difficult the Flanker is. I have to constantly trim it just to fly straight and level. It doesn't have to be automatic or anything, but something along the lines of once you get a good connection it will take over from there and is more difficult to disconnect. It seems like if you're not using a Warthog stick or if your stick isn't perfect it makes it incredibly difficult. Hell, I'd settle for a mod.

I don't think I'm the only one who has problems with AARs, and even though I can do it, it takes so much time and effort to do it as it is in the game now. Practice, practice, practice, sure, but a lot of it has to do with the flight stick you're using. My X52 is starting to get a bit old and it has some itty bitty dead zones in it which makes it a nightmare for AARs...too much over or under-correction. Also, the autopilot that most of us have to use is practically a cheat for it, so I don't see why adjusting the difficulty would be a bad thing. I was wondering if it would be possible to have back the LOMAC version of AARs? I'd really love to incorporate it into my missions and campaigns that I create, but as it stands it's so difficult and frustrating to do that most people would rather just land and refuel. What do you guys think? For those of you who may not remember, AARs in LOMAC were much more forgiving.

Alright you got it up already (as fighter pilots would now say: "so to speak")? I checked yesterday and didn't see it...Imma check it out now. EDIT: Good stuff, as usual! I really enjoy watching you fly these missions.

Yeah, that's true. There's a good bit of BRRRRRRRT in the mission, though.

I think I'm just gonna have one A-10 mission in there. Holy crap flying that jet is like watching grass grow.

Sure! Started on the third mission last night. I'm trying to keep it rather short and sweet without too much fluff. My favorite mission so far is the second one...pure air-to-air ass kickery.

It's ready, gentlemen. Everything has worked for me so far, but feel free to let me know if you or I can improve it. Feel free to improve upon it yourself and fix any bugs you find. It's much, much more straightforward and simple, and there are fewer flourishes and extraneous things going on, but I think you'll really, really enjoy the missions...especially the last mission. A Bitter Pill Part 2.rar

While I'm all for new fighter aircraft, the Viggen doesn't exactly excite me, just as the MiG-23 doesn't really excite me. I know it's all just rumors, but it's perplexing. If it were just for flying around, ok...but combat? A challenge is one thing, but going up against Eagles or Flankers in a MiG-23 is just suicide and masochism. If there's going to be something from Saab, bring on the Gripen.

No no, you're not hijacking anything! I've never cared about people "hijacking" threads because I love the simple fact that people are talking about it. This is where ideas come from. My way of thinking is the same as you, because the initial idea is the hardest; there are so many factors to think about like feasibility, predictability, gameplay, realism, etc. To be honest, it's my favorite part of mission building. For this campaign, I would literally lie in bed at night before drifting off to sleep thinking of scenarios. When I woke up and went to work, the entire way I was thinking how to implement it. Once I start a big project, I'm consumed by it.

Great work, sniper! I'll fix that ASAP. So when you kill ANY target with ON DESTROY selected, it doesn't trigger it again? I didn't know that. That will fix a lot of trigger doubts now. Awesome! Yeah, the R-27s are dump missiles compared to R-77s. Also, those were MiG-29A models, not S models, and the A models don't carry the R-77. That mission's aim is to finish on a relatively easy and light note; the Ukraine Flanker side missions are just to give the player a taste of the Flanker if they've never used it. I designed all of those missions to be easier than the F-15 missions because the campaign is aimed at the F-15, and I didn't want people to be stuck on a side mission because they kept getting schwacked by AMRAAMski-carrying Fulcrums.

Wow, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot of problems with the beagles dropping their bombs on static targets. That mission should be ok, but I think it's still a little buggy with some triggers and AI. I'm going to tweak it even more and figure out why it's hit or miss. Yeah, that SEAD AI is a pain in the ass for triggers. It's not that the AI is bad; it's almost too good! I'm going to have to get creative with the triggers so as to ensure the mission goes ahead as planned. I'll be honest with you: I haven't even flown the last mission. I built it and double-checked it to be sure it worked in theory, but I didn't have time to get to it to test it. I was just praying it worked. The bullseyes are close to their own respective AOR in the beginning, so when you're down towards Tblisi, the bullseye calls are going to be like "SINGLE GROUP BULLSEYE 150 (the azimuth), 567 (the range), 25 THOUSAND (the altitude), HOSTILE (the dec)" As for the campaign, it's not over! It may be a while, but I'm actually going to add another part to this with all new stages, possibly even adding some missions from the red side's point of view. I want to create an epic geopolitical story in the air. Don't worry, there will be additions to this campaign as soon as I can get to it. Right now I'm in the planning and thinking stage. You have been a huge help and I can't thank you enough. I'm so glad you liked it.
