  1. Not just the F-15s, but there are no Vipers either for countries like Iraq, UAE, Bahrain, etc., not to mention no Iranian F-4s or F-14s. We kinda need these jets.
  2. I dunno why I've never noticed it, but it's in the Caucasus as well. Maybe I've been flying the Eagle too long and I'm just getting back into the Flanker, but I never noticed it before. It looks like the nose isn't flush with the canopy in the front. Maybe I've just never noticed it before, but I thought it was flush and smooth in front of the HUD. If not, disregard. In any case, here's what I'm talking about:
  3. So it's different than in the Caucasus map? I'm not talking about the IRSTS, I'm talking about the piece of the nose underneath it that seems to be missing.
  4. I was playing the Flanker for the first time in the Nellis map when I noticed that there is a graphics glitch in the nose around the IRSTS, only from the cockpit view. As you can see, it seems there is a piece of the nose missing, while the outside view is correct. Minor bug, but wanted to bring it to your attention.
  5. I am getting this same message when I exit the mission from the M2000 campaign mods, but the F-15 campaign has the proper de-briefing.
  6. Haha I know :megalol: I felt kinda bad when I remembered you had the same scenario...BUT, your campaigns were never about realism, just fun. I alternate between the action movie campaigns and the realistic ones, it's just that really realistic campaigns weren't to be found until now. I tried a bit with mine but you still had to have a massive level of suspension of belief, what with the NATO actually invading and whatnot. I have a part 3 in the works but I put it aside because it's such an exhausting process and I got tired of things not doing what I wanted them to do and not being able to understand why.
  7. I'd love to see a Mirage campaign like this as well, since it's a dual-role fast mover. Is there any way to edit the loadouts in the campaign?
  8. Hahaha not you! I'm not talking about you guys, I'm talking about the stock campaigns! I love all the homemade campaigns.
  9. I just ran the first mission, and this is the first time it felt like a real mission since I've been playing DCS. The OOB, employment, and doctrine are spot-on, and the Eagles are employed exactly how they're supposed to be employed. None of this fly low through the mountains and pop up and shoot an AWACS crap. Well done.
  10. AFTTP 3-1 Brevity Code Words. It changes every few years but overall they're the same...as long as the Navy doesn't get their hands on them. GET THAT DEEP AND WIDE CRAP OUTTA HERE! :D Brings back memories of my days as a GCI controller.
  11. This was happening to me with friendlies as well a while back...I think it's an AI thing since 1.5. Please feel free to adjust or correct anything you see wrong and I'll post it back up again. I might just end up having them spawn instead of having all of them take off. It sucks, I know, but this game has always had retarded AI.
  12. Wow, thanks a lot! I had been having some trouble with the triggers and such with the campaign with the changeover to 1.5/2.0...is everything still working correctly? To be honest, I thought that I had to start all over again with the new game build, that old missions were borked. Please feel free to adjust anything you see fit. I'm still building part 3 but I haven't had the time to really get it to do what I want it to do due to all the troubleshooting. Glad to hear you liked it.
  13. Since the update of 1.5, many things have changed in the campaign creation and there are several errors in missions, rendering them broken. I'm currently fixing them and will have it working as soon as I can. I'll post the updated campaign when I'm finished.
  14. I had passive defense in the Reaction to Threat. Gonna try it now.
  15. What is the distance between an aircraft's waypoint and target in order for them to complete their task? I've noticed that if I'm setting a strike aircraft to attack, say, a radar site and I don't put the waypoint near the target, even if I have the target group assigned it won't attack the target and will just RTB. Is there a minimum distance between the waypoint and the target that the waypoint must be in order for the AI to follow its mission parameters?
  16. It works! I used to have to do that in 1.2 but now in 1.5 thanks to the new ENGAGE ONLY it works. Much obliged.
  17. I thought that worked only at Waypoint 1. I used that so they won't leave the waypoint and engage anyone without my pushing them. So even if Weapons Hold is at WPT 1 and nowhere else, they'll continue to be at Weapons Hold? The Vipers have the same ROE command and they engage at their next WPT. Gonna give it a shot and will post results. Thanks!
  18. I've been having problems since 1.5 to get AI to do what I want it to do, and for a while I thought it was because I was loading up 1.2 missions, but now this is a fresh mission I'm building in 1.5 and I'm beginning to think that it has to be me...there's something I'm not doing right. I've set up a strike package of 2 vipers on SEAD and two Strike Eagles on a runway bombing mission. In order to make sure all the triggers and such work, I just stay put in my C model and watch them do their stuff. When they hit Waypoint 1, you must push them with the F10 menu. After that, the Vipers do their SEAD business and get outta there just in time for the Strike Eagles to make their bombing run. They then line up with the runway, proceed on their attack run, and then bug out without dropping any bombs. Please run the mission and tell me if I've done something wrong. There are no enemy aircraft because I wanted to test out the AI. Just stay in the parking area and fast forward it if you don't want to actually have to fly the mission. Everything can be done with the map, F10 menu, and fast forwarding everything. Remember that they're going to hold at WPT 1 while they wait for your order to push. This has been happening in my old campaigns that I've built, and up until now I thought it was just the 1.5 changeover, but I think something has changed, something small, and I'm just overlooking it. Please help. Thanks! Eagle Escort mission.miz
  19. Thanks a lot! As far as all the other campaigns and single missions go, has anyone remade them and reposted them? I'm mainly using FC3.
  20. I don't know if it's been posted or not yet, and I've looked but haven't exactly found the answer I was looking for, but are 1.2 missions screwed up when loaded into 1.5? All my old campaigns are really screwy with messed up triggers, AI completely ignoring trigger states, etc. Am I just SOL and have to re-create everything?
  21. Just broke down and bought a Warthog HOTAS for Christmas, and I have to say that it's worth every penny. DCS is a completely different simulator with this flight stick. I was going to get the X55 but I saw a deal on Amazon for just 100 bucks more for the Warthog, so I got it. At first I had a bit of buyer's remorse due to spending so much money (I got it on sale, however...320 euros, shipping included), but now that I've put it through its paces, it's a godsend. The sensitivity in the stick is perfect; it feels like a part of my body, like an extra appendage. I highly recommend this flight stick, even if it doesn't have as many buttons as the X55 and no radials. It's completely worth it. Completely.
  22. Ok, the Hornets show up now on the F10 menu, but now they're not attacking the EWR site, which is predicated on spawning the Russian aircraft. I'm having the same problem with a new mission I'm working on for ABP 3 in which Vipers don't want to attack their ground targets. Argh. EDIT: Ok here's the deal: they simply won't attack ground targets unless you have SEAD activated in the 0 waypoint. However, if you have SEAD in the 0 waypoint they will skip waypoint 1 and ignore their orders and attack the EWR site. I need them to hold so we can push together, but they won't do it. They either skip WP1 altogether and proceed with their mission, or they follow the waypoints in order and follow their orders, except they don't attack anything. I don't know if this is a bug or just something I'm doing wrong, but please take a look at it and see if you can figure something out. It wasn't doing this in 1.2. EDIT 2: Ok, got it working. Apparently, there's an extra command you have to give now in 1.5 that you didn't in 1.2. You have to make sure that you put HOLD FIRE on your hold point and then change your ROE to engage only the target you want on your attack run. I think in 1.2 it figured it out automatically because there were never issues with this campaign. Newest version updated.
  23. Ok, I just tried it and you're right, the USN Hornets don't show up in the F10 menu for some reason. I checked and double checked to make sure everything was correct, and everything seems to be in order. However, I tweaked a few small things, so try it again and let me know. If it still doesn't work, take a look at the triggers because maybe you'll see something I missed. It worked fine up until this point...maybe it's a 1.5 issue?
