  2. That is good for you. Here's one for comparison. Both fully zoomed out btw. (I might be harsh on this one because Harrier's display and font is slightly smaller, but you get the idea.) This time both at default zoom level, (I zoomed out Hornet a little bit to match the scale)

  4. Will F-15E have the similar MFD rendering quality such as Hornet or Viper? If you look at RAZBAM's last attempt to bring MFD in DCS(AV-8B), it's not a secret that it looks quite outdated compare to Hornet or Viper. I run DCS at 1440p resolution, and I have zero issue reading texts on Hornet's DDI. No shimmering and sharp text. In contrast, Harrier's MFD render quality is not as good, especially in higher resolution and VR. At default zoom level the text is blurry and you can clearly see black outlines when drawn over HSI map underlay. Not to mention the amount of shimmering and lack of anti-aliasing. And this issue is still under investigation AFAIK. Now, I'm pretty sure that we're going to spend more time looking at those screens in F-15E.. I hope RAZBAM to deliver better end product...
  5. This is a follow up video of bugs related to Topd. Video 1: Tpod is automatically activated/deactivated every time I cycle through the selective jettison knob. Video 2: When I activate the Tpod, it instantly put into boresight (i.e. there's no animation for standby to active transition.) Comparison: F/A-18C (1:31 mark) Please let me know if I need to create a separate post regarding the video 2.
  6. Depending on the light conditions, you can see many of those modeling artifact on the probe mount unit. I think simple topology clean-up would do the job?
  7. I found out that by cycling through the selective jettison knob, it will make Litening pod back in and out of stored position. Also when I activate the Tpod it behaves like on/off(just like in the video) than a gimbal. Small detail.. but I think it's worth mentioning.
  8. My panel's LED doesn't sync with the game since the latest SimAppPro software update. Export.lua is checked and looks fine to me. Can anyone help? Edit #1: It works just fine in singleplayer mode but not in multiplayer. Edit #2: I have deleted all wwt lua files and downgraded the SimAppPro, now it's working again. Should investigate more...

  12. Normally HMD will show arrow towards the target box when it's outside the HUD fov and you're looking at or above the horizon. But it doesn't show the arrow when you look down. Since the arrow is missing it's bit disorienting at times. Is this a expected behavior? Obviously I have zero clue on how the real thing works! (I've added red arrow in the image as a visual representation) Edit: After watching the video in this thread, I noticed that TD box will move freely within the HMDs limit. But in DCS TD box is caged to HUD area.
  13. You can see when the flap is fully deployed in each stage, it teleports into the position because the animation is bit short(or slow).

  15. I know this is really really minor detail, but Audio Warning Reset button is still missing sound and press animation. I'm super grateful that you guys finally added the button click sounds to the model, but it is bit strange that the single button is left out of the treatment.
  16. Really? I've been using TAA exclusively on games that support it (R6 Seige, CoD:MW, RDR2) and the image looks amazing. No jagged edges and no shimmering at all. :)
  17. I know this is an old post, but yeah TAA is the way to go nowadays. Very low impact on performance, but it gives a much better image than FXAA, MSAA and Super-sampling.

  20. Hi, can someone help me with this issue? I can't get DCS World to work with the MiG-21 module installed. It makes the game fail to load the second instance(module), not just MiG-21 but every modules. I tried to re-install the module and DCS World itself, but it didn't fix the problem.   22. I agree with you on DM. Old IL-2 has better DM compare to DCS and BoS(At least visual perspective).

  24. Hello, I have a little suggestion about current gun smoke graphics. I just bought Sabre and realized that it has same awful looking gun smoke from P-51 module. (Perhaps other modules like A-10C or FC3 has a same problem??) I can understand the amount and thickness of smoke coming out from gun fire, but what makes it really awful is that the length of smoke is very short so when I stops firing, it looks like the remains of smoke just stays on the point when I stopped firing like a stationary object(cloud). Below is a comparison to other combat flight sim. Not that I'm saying that other sim has a perfect effect, but at least they doesn't have a thick and cloud like smoke from DCS series. Hope you guys fix this issue on upcoming update. :pilotfly:
