OK , so i couldn't send attachments via PM, so I'm posting here. How to get EWR (radar, GCI - Ground Controlled Interception working): see screenshots and sample attached mission. Generally speaking Red should have GCI (maybe AWACS with A-50 works too) and Blue mighthave AWACS (E-3 sentry or something similiar), I don't think Mirages really need AWACS (it is going to easy for them). Thank you very much! It is clearly the best server for MiG-21 vs Mirage right now. A couple questions: 1) Do you plan adding TeamSpeak in future? 2) I've seen the radio for GCI is available for MiG-21, but on which channel is it? Does it work or is it planned? BTW: is there is any way anybody can help you running this setup?

Can anyone confirm? I cannot see the line when trying to measure distance in F10 view/map, apparently the distance kilometers are shown but the line is not being drawn.... The SPS seems to be apparently broken and it is unable to jam even Hawk HPIR, however I haven't tested it with 1.5 Open Beta yet (still it isn't mentioned in changelog for 1.5 so i guess it is still not functional).

It did happen only once. Later we were flying F-15, Su-27, MiGs-21 like crazy without single crash like this. As far as I remember it could be related to one of guys trying to join(connect or select - no idea) with MiG-21... but I'm only 60% sure.

[REPORTED] DCS MiG-21 crash while loading (in Avionics.dll) 1. repair did not help 2. dcs_updater.exe install mig21-bis # reinstall, even on earlier installed & activate module ends in crash too 3. any mission for MiG-21 crashes , even Free Flight

Q1) Will ECM/ECCM be somehow improved in DCSW 2.0? -- I'm maninly asking about not fully functioning SPS-141-100 pod for MiG-21, but I feel ECM is more like on/off instead of function of freq/modulation/range/radar type/etc or having extended type like denial vs deception/etc. Q2) Will there be ability to build ground modules with "custom cockpits" / customized / own rendering instead of terrain view?, e.g. more like Steel Bests Pro where you have look at Abrams from inside, or SAMSim where you look at real radar screen instead of what we have currently, that is simplified Tunguska radar screen? Q3) DCS F-5E this or next year - true/false ? Q4) Can you force on Leatherneck Sims so that they deliver Mig-23ML/D or Su-17/22M4 ? :D

Yup, they also mentioned "theatres" E.g. S-75 Volhow/Dvina (SA-2) / S-200 (SA-5 Gammon) are missing right now. I know Beczl did model at least SA-2 , but it didn't end up in LN's Mig-21... so we have 3 possibilites: - A2G combat radar - A2G navigation radar/avionics - ground radars (EWRs), whole IADS or maybe some missing SAM installations ;o

For russia ones there were some discussions regarding Su-17/22M4 and/or Mig-23 (MF? or MLD?) more than year ago. As far as i remember it was stated that those coldwar era ones share up to 60% of module with Mig-21, so developement would be potentiallty quick, but they were not planning those.

I know for sure that Ralfidude did ECM tests some time ago, and concluded on forum that ECM pods on A-10C were useless. I don't think that ECM from 60s-70s are secret anymore, take a look on SamSim forum: http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3735258/1 the best introduction i've ever seen to this topic. Also -21 has ECCM function for Saphir and it does "negate" ALL (!) jamming, while strictly it should probably help some forms only (I don't think it would be able to "magically" remove ECM of F15C for example). Even SA-6 KUB ECCM specifications are more or less in public knowledge.... still, questions are i think valid ;) Even if the SPS-141 doesnt work at all it would be nice to know it - i would stop wasting my time :)

Hi, first, enormous Thank You for bringing this module to the masses. Honeslty I'm going to buy anything from you guys that's from Cold War and newer, it's hard these days to find such quality products. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll bring us some variant of Mig-23, too ;) Main matter: I realize that ECM simulation is not the priority in DCS and in -21 (and bringing it to reality might not be the most critical thing ;)), but still I have certain questions regarding SPS-141-100/-Je usage. 1) is SPS/ECM, planned to be somehow improved in long term? 2) is the bug of not working "painted by radar" light on SPS panel, known? # even with SPO-10 going nuts 3) could we get better understanding what is the program I/II setting? (I've tried to research this, but the best hits are for SPS-141-M/MVG - for formation flying, etc) 4) are really Continues/Impulse/Doppler/etc settings radars implemented in DCS? if yes, is jamming of those implemented via SPS pod? 5) how accurate are the radar frequencies implemented in DCS? 6) should i be able to jam using SPS-141-100 Hawk MIM-23B that is present in game? (my tests on 1.2.10 show that it is impossible, but this pod was exactly developed against early Hawks)? How about SA-3 Low blow? I've looked up that MPQ-46/HPIR is working somewhere 8-12GHz and SPS-141-100 should be able to jam 8.82-10.71GH (exact Hawk freq? -- according to Jane's) 7) how about jamming other AI planes? 8 ) how about jamming other human players? on polish forum where we tried to nail down the problem, 1 person reported that SPS-141 is able to jam FC3 Mig-29 radar but not the F-15 9) jamming... what effective ranges should we expect for the above? I'm wanted to write in Bug section, because honeslty i believe that it should work somehow against even SA-3/HAWK that is present in game. I've done tenths of flight in single player to test it... all for nothing.
