Sith, I do owe you an apology. It was wrong of me to lash out at you. Someone who is just like the rest of us that is looking for a streight answer. My frustration was indeed misdirected and I am indeed sorry. Now as far as this whole debacle. It was created by one of the DCS employees/developers that only shared the information with a very small group of this large community and was/is in conflict with the official news updates. That I consider a kind of bait and switch tactics. I kind of look at it this way. If someone new that is considering buying into DCS for the first time. The official news releases give the appearance of big things are moving forward with great speed and coming soon. Now all of us are hooked to DCS, but if I was new or considering to buy into DCS based on the news realeases and then discover that infact the information was more less a fabrication. I would be extremely upset and consider that I had been subjected to false advertisement. I do appreciate you reaching out to Wags for clarification and requesting a post. Which he declined by the way and more less said that he would give information thur the offical news releases only. Kind of a disappointmentto to say the lleast. Especially when you have another DCS employee releasing contrary information to a small select group of these forums.

Sith, I get it. You are a community manager and with that title you are obligated to tow company line. However; the problem that I have as it seems many others in this thread have too. Is that only a 1/4 of the community is given the real truth of things and the rest are left in the dark. It kind of "appears" that a "bait and switch" is happening where we are told of all the great things are coming this year and we are encouraged to purchase their modules so we all be ready to fly them on the new maps and 2.5. Then we discover quiet by chance that all of the good news is not that good after all.

Yes the VA website and facebook page are temporarily closed. We as admins for the VA are working on ways and ideas how to be most effective with our time and money to serve the VA community. The VA DCS server and Teamspeak channel are still up and running and will continue to be. We have discussed that after ther merger of all the DCS platfoms into one. The VA will begin hosting events surch as World War II Night or racing events once the scripting is fixed for that. We have tested and have had great success in running 2 different platforms DCS 1.5 and 2.0 on the server at the same time so those of you that may be worried that the VA server for just flying when these events are sceduled may not be available? No worries. The VA will always be available for your enjoyment. In the mean time. If you have any questions. Pleae swing by our TeamSpeak channel. Ok today while in the VA server I discovered something that may or may not be helpful in figuring this out. When I got in the server I did not select an aircraft. Instead I just clicked on brief and then fly which of course did not put me in a plane. I then click F10 and the map is in the center screen and is clickable. I also noticed in a friends server that being in a plane puts the map on the left screen. When you jump into a combined arms vehicle. The map acts as it should. Makes no sense. There has to be someting new in the aircraft programing that is not in the ground combined arms' vehicles. What are you guys thoughts?

Thamks Klem. Like you and others that run 3 screens. I still have the same problem. Even after this last update on Friday we are all still having the same problem. I am now using Video's soloution, but as he states. It is not ideal. Especially if you have large displays like I do at 3 42" monitors at 90 degrees. It hurts my neck and back in having to turn extreme left and right to click on the map settings and such. What I dont understand is that there must be some simple solution that we have not stumbled on yet. We did have a couple of post in this thread from authorized outside testers from DCS, but they have not gotten back to us to say if ED was working on it or not. I guess folks using 3 screens is not a large amount in the ED community and larger bugs in game is taking priority right now.

Ok after today's update this problem has only gotten worse. Now when you hit escape. The exit menu is now on the left screen also. You either have to hit "control alt delete" or start clicking on the blank center screen in about the same area of the window on the left screen in hopes of clicking in the correct area. Please help.

Can someone please tell me that this is being worked or or if someone has discovered a fix? I really hope so cause it is impossible to set a course or identify other aircraft. Thanks for everyone's time

SkateZilla, did anyone send you the info you asked for? I am not the brightest when it comes to looking for filesand such in a computer and I wanted to make sure that someone sent the items to you to get this fixed. As it stands right now. The F10 map is useless when you select 3 screens in game.

Hey Humpdtydumpty, You are in luck. As one of rhe VA admins. We all agreed to set up a separate server for the beta update. We will keep the stable and the beta up for one week. Silly? Maybe:pilotfly:, but I have an HGU 55 that was given to me years back and is in near perfect condition and I think would add to the emersion of the sim. I however haven't had the guts to wear it. Or not aroud the wife. :lol: If you are ever able to snag one of those. They do make PC adapters for them. Just do a little google search for it. Last time i checked I think the adapter is around 80.00 bucks.
