Trying to make my Fw-190 skins historically accurate i notice that when i open the .dds of the official dcs skins, the swastika is there, but in-game, the center of the logo is blurred... So i now wonder, is there anything i can do to remove that blurred texture to make the tail swastika to show completely as it shows up on the .dds?

New players have awesome Su 25 training missions and a manual to write everything down as we all did. It's a simple plane come on we need a good Chuck's Mirage manual xD

It would be awesome the fact of having one version with everything separated. Like, i just want the ground vehicles sound mod, but actually i need to install everything if i want them...

Hi, the last weekend i entered an mp server with the F-86 to salute some Mig's. It was late, like 19 PM, with the last hours of sun, and the cabin glass reflections are kinda weird. I was unable to spot anything because of the glass always having a weird texture of the inside panels reflections. Also, the glass has a weird dot-ish texture that makes it look strange in low light conditions. I think i will explain it better with pictures.... As you can see, the reflections are a bit weird. I have the game on high settings, textures at ultra. Yeah the sun was coming from my 3 o'clock, and yeah i agree we should get reflection of the panels in that part of the cabin, but imho they are a bit exagerated, or at least too much opaque and white-ish... This is just my opinion and feedback, what do you guys think about this?

Hi, i am starting my training with the Sabre, i can move the air brakes with "F", but i have it assigned to my TM HOTAS WH and i would like to know where's the airbrake switch or an indicator to know the position they are, as i cannot see them with my diy tracker. I simply cannot find it in the cockpit, and as it doesn't have training missions. i feel forced to ask here :helpsmilie: Thanks in advance.

Yeah i tried this mod path "DCS World/ _MODS/ Scripts / net and there the two .lua's " but it didn't worked. Also, i tested it activating them manually, renaming the originals and copying the new ones. I keep getting a bunch of chat messages. Any clue?

Isn't this mod "JSGME" compatible? JSGME isn't loading it... Would be amazing. Well, manually isn't working also... Isn't this compatible with the latest version of DCS? This mod would be amazing!

Hi, i messed up touching the replay cameras from this post: Touching, i should have set a new default camera for the plane, and i can no longer move it with the numpad, every movement i see in that post for moving the camera is not working anymore. Also, trying to press numpad 5 to reset camera, just flashes some frames of the correct forward position, but they are just 1-2 frames... then it moves back again... :ranting: I am currently using the realneck mod, and freetrack, and i tried centering it, yes. Restarting the game doesn't solve anything, turning freetrack off also nothing. I just can zoom in/out with numpad "/" and "*". Hope anyone experienced this and can give me a hand because i am going mad. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Now i am able to rotate the head with numpad numbers, but as soon as i release the key, it moves back to the starting position. And the camera changed for all the planes omg... I am going mad, need help ASAP! EDIT 2: I just solve it just replacing the "SnapViews.lua" and the "server.lua" for the ones of the propper neck mod, but i would like to know how to solve this to avoid it in a future. I just checked again to move the camera with numpad with my FT off and doesn't move at all...

Is FTNoIR still developed? I am using an IR cap, and freetrack worksfine at low light conditions (But i remember that i had to add an archive to some part of the DCS folders that makes my dcs crash always when i quit missions or servers :mad:, don't know if that's what you are tlaking about...) I need a profile for OpenTrack to see if it works as fine as it does in ArmA III in my bright light morning conditions because i haven't make it worked in this sim. Gurby, as i am using an IR led cap, your profile won't work with my config, but thanks for telling anyways.

Hi, i am trying to make OpenTrack 2.3 rc8 to work in DCS world. I have been using Freetrack for years with no problem, also with DCS. The pitty is that my room is so bright, that the Freetrack software works worse than OpenTrack in this light conditions. The thing is that i am simply not able to make it work in DCS. I remember that some months ago i tried it, and the yaw movement was inverted, and ticking the invert yaw option in OT just made every other axis to not work... Now trying it again, not even one axis work. Just the rotation axis works, so weird. I've saw one thread here about OT, but it is from long time ago with old versions, and the profiles i found there also doesn't work. Any clue? Anyone here using OpenTrack in this sim? Thanks in advance hope you can help me. EDIT: Tested FTNOIR but as i don't have mapping profiles i don't know how it works. I am looking for an alternative to Freetrack, for IR led cap. Suggestions?

You can record either SP or MP missions and use the views from the link in either one" Do you mean with this that i can like save a replay with some dcs feature and then move the camera of said replay with the shortcuts of the link you just passed? That's what i get from that phrase, and if i am correct, i would appreciate a lot if you tell me how could i save said track, i have no idea on how to do that, in case i got you fine... and i don't see that in the link you passed. Hi, i saw videos with people recording with free camera movement around the map (with this i mean 3rd person not the pilot view). How can they do this? Is it a mod? Also, in case someone know how they do that, do they do it just in single player or could it be done in multiplayer too? Thanks in advance. Example: Also, a good C-101 edit.

Hi, i am trying to help a friend that want's to start the A-10 Warthog left/right engine without having to press that "L.ALT+Start". With my thrustmaster hotas warthog i do it physically, i mean, moving from off to idle my physical sub-throttles. But as we have seen in videos, you can do this move virtually inside the game with the yellow cross, pointing the cross tho the throttle, in videos i've seen, looks that you can actually do this. But me and my friend can't. I moved the cross around almost all the panel and just get to touch switches, not the throttle, and on videos i see that poinnting it in the upper part of the throttle you can move, and the clicking, moves the throttle to idle. Why i am not getting this to work? Thanks in advance!

Thank you sir, didn't know that. I will test that later, as soon as i have some spare time. It's a pitty if i have to choose between the backlighting or the slider. Any other slider i could choose to use it as zoom? EDIT: I am thinking that if i was able to set an specific backlight value, maybe the slider would become free, and therefore, the slider wouldn't interfere with the backlight sensor, and that way i could use it porperly without loosing my backlighting. Dop you think this could be possible? If so, do you know how?

Ok, thank you for all your replies. The thing is that i want to use a slider to try to avoid the escalated zoom of the mouse wheel. I will test all your advises later, and will post the results here. Edit: Another guy told me that, as one said here, that it's the leds that are interfering with the slider sensor. So, as almost every button is in use for the A-10 warthog, is there any slider i could use to the zoom appart from this one? Or maybe could i set one stable backlight value and make the slider to not interfere with the backlighting? I think this could be the best option but i don't know if it's possible as i have no experience with the TARGET software in my 3 days of joystick. :cry:

Hi, i am trying to make the TM warthog throttle slider to work as a progressive headcam zoom. I go to axis commands, set the "zoom view" to the TM throttle "JOY_SLIDER1" and when testing it, zooming in and out, there's a lot of points in the axis that makes the camera to vibrate/shake. It's like the point is not completely accurate and the camera point moves between 2 points. So i tried to "axis adjustment" inside DCS controls, se the graphic to a progressive concave curve, with 20 points of deadzone, and set to slider. But it's still shaking in a lot of points. Has anyone set the camera zoom to any joystick slider? This happened to me also in the Saitek X-52 Pro, and i don't remember if i was able to solve it. Any clue?
