Sorry Artur to be completely honest Im kinda new to the forums thing. I usually just read them and fix my problem but I'm finding out that if I don't post anything or at least let folks know that issues get fixed than it doesn't help anybody else with the same issue....with that said I'm very thankful for your help as well as PD and a few others on here. radio panel still not working here is a pic of the panel. it appears that the left freq is the FM radio and the right is the AM radio. shouldn't it be showing AM freqs on both sides....it did before when it was working but since it stopped this is the result.

Hey guys, im still having issues with my radio panel. @fordfairlane. check post 77 in this thread. Setting the knob with dcs bios at these values gives a 1 degree at a time change.

the curretn values all show unknown. It appears that dcs bios isnt working properly. the panels are fine.

downloaded new version and installed over old version. tried to create a new profile but still get the same results or lack there of i should say. one interesting thing is on the com 1 its shows the fm freq in the left window and the am in the right. still no changes in the the sim. it doesnt seem to be getting the requencies from the jet (ie 124.00) to the panel (ie 116.00) HEELLLPP!!!!!!! i dont know what happened.

i did take an update to windows 8 last night and may be the cause... i checked windows firewall and the udp ports are still open and allowed. the panles are showing frequencies but wont change in the sim when i press the stand by button. same with multi panel, the panel itself works and is recognized in FlightPanels but DCS does not see it.....

was working now not I had the radio panels and multi panel working great.......now ive got no response in dcs at all. I m trying to use helios and made sure that the line for the export.lua for the flightpanel setup is in the scripting but still no action. in the flight panels gui the gear isnt turning. im a little stumped at this point.

@JABog32 its works good. i mapped the HDG NAV IAS etc buttons to the NMSP so when i press the button it stays lit as does the EGI switch in the sim. Just to to update you Darkwolf.....i did get my radio panel working. i copied the line for dcs bios to the export.lua file and it started working.

A bug in DCS!!!!! Just curious if anyone in here know of a fix....im using the multi panel and assinging the encoder to adjust my course know on the HSI......i assigned - and = in dcs and noticed that the value and the needle on the gauge in the sim jumps 4 to 6 degrees when i turn the knob one click. i checked this against the keystroke on the keybaord and get the same reslut so its an issue with dcs......does anyone know how to fix it so when i press the - or = or turn the knob i get one degree of change?

Panel Operation @pdmarsh -- I wont be using any complex sequences as of now just wanting the radio stack to perform a normal function of changing freqs etc. as far as the multi panel i may use it for the NMSP panel in the sim not sure yet of the final usage. i think my hiccup dcs isnt seeing my inputs from either panel. i went back in sim to try again and my radio freq leds arent showing anything now as before i was getting telemetry and was able to change the freq with the knob and so on. I have flight panels open and it is seeing the panels and registering button presses. Not sure again exactly where im sitting with dcs bios. Should it be in C:|users\Name\savedgames\dcs\scripts....?????

Panels Artur thanks for your patience and time......i have the Radio and Multi panel. I did get DCS Bios figured out( i didnt have it in my saved games file and only figured this out after getting the error and seeing the file path msg in the error followed by moving dcs bios to the saved game/dcs directory etc etc etc). im currectly reading the dcs bios link you gave me about udp's and trying to muster up some courage to attempt getting that to work.

udate i made some progress and got the leds to indicate frequencies on the radio panel. still not sure how to get teh sim to react or recognize the frequency changes in the sim. the Multi panel is now recognizing the switches and toggles as a keyboard press but not getting a reaction in the sim as with the radio panel. any thoughts?

update i did figure out DCS BIos and got it to see the GUI. I all honesty im not a programmer and try to run a way and hide when i see code or intergers. Im way behind the learning curve in that respect. drivers i deleted the origianl saitek drivers Im following the directions per the origianl post by artur (page 2 quote 15) When i open flight panels gui the multi panel shows activity when i press the buttons or turn the tuning knob but the radio panel doesnt. Am i missing a step for the radio panel? I tried to follow your directions to the note but ran into road blocks. The "libusbdotnet" folder was not part of your zip file and had to search and download it ( not sure if it was suppose to be) After alot of frustration i finally figured out the where and what on the ".inf" file that is needed to be installed per your directions. All in alll im stuck and a)cannot get the radio panel to respond in the gui and b)not sure what to do with dcs bios and how to integrate it with your program. Not trying to sound like an idiot just looking for a little guidance. im willing to start from scratch if necessary. and i failed to mention that i was only able to get the .inf file by creating it with what i downloaded from from Raf's original creation.

Updating Dirver Software I fumbling through the install and finally at the point to update driver and am getting an error stating "The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information." Do you have any direction on this paticular problem?
