I see it as well as clouds doing the same thing.

Multi crew de sync Not sure if the particular issue has been reported. In multi crew, if you are shot down or crash, when re spawning in a new bird the Co pilot is out of sync which causes the engine spool down sound to continually sound and the master arm switch which allows the gunner to fire will not remain in the armed position. If the pilot moves to the gunner position he/she can fire it.

You can also double cick the mouse scroll wheel and then roll it backwards to adjust your eyepoint as well. A little easier to do then trying to hit the key commands in VR. When your satisfied double click it again to deactivate it. You will of courservice have to save that view point after you're done.

DCSFlightpanels (DCSFP) thread. Saitek Pro Flight Panels & DCS

Pz69 key emulator.....does this mean the encoders can be used in game!?!?!? -
To each his own.

I have 17 on off on toggles in my pit alone. If I had to bind the middle position to a button in DCS to avoid Luna coding is use up more than half of a 32 button joystick board.
-
You don't need on on on switches, the middle position will always remain on and the sim won't recognize you moving the switch to that position. Get on off on switches. You'll need to edit the default Lua to get the results you are looking for. You can find out how here :https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226
-
You will have to use two buttons, one for each on position of your toggle switch.

Im using the dsd64. What do you want to know.

+1 Vladinsky did you try to implement the Comm 1 Comm2 channel knobs or just the Volume knobs. Id like to get those working since my squadron is on mission stand down to learn the harrier. We use SRS and being able to switch frequencies in VR without having to use the mouse would be great. we are going from tower to a marshall freq to the tanker then to a field carrier landing practice contacting paddles.

IF YOURE USING LOGITECH WIRELESS DEVICES!!!!!!!!!
Baldawg replied to Baldawg's topic in Virtual Reality
First off, i have over 25 USB devices connected to my PC using 2 7 port powered USB hubs as well as a pci e 4 port 3.0 expansion card and obviously the usb ports on the mobo. the logitech wireless devices caused VR to crash. Once they were disconnected the issue ceased. The issue wasn't just DCS crashing, Oculus' image would literally freeze and the USB disconnect reconnect sounded and all usb devices ie warthog and mfds would turn off then on. As far as the PSU....im running a 1000w evga platinum psu. -
Logitech wireless keyboard K520 and wireless mouse M-R0065 both caused frequent an intermittent crashes in VR. After checking all settings, unchecking power management in Device Manager for all USB devices and scouring over hundreds of forums posts pointing to selective suspend and BiOS updates for MOBO etc etc, i noticed that ASUS had Logitech fixes as one of the BiOS updates. I currently have the most up to date BiOS and still experienced the issue. My squadron mate tested this issue as well and can re create the crash with it plugged into the MOBO USB slots. However, plugging into a powered hub didnt cause any crashes. Thought I'd shout this from the rooftop since VR is getting more popular in the World of DCS. Hope your mileage doesnt vary to much from what we've found.

@Zeus67 As far as the Interior lighting panel is concerned, will this only be written to support Axis for Potentiometers or will there be key bindings to increase/decrease the position for use of Rotary encoders?
-
yeah i gave up on it and switched a few of my switches (ha ha) to a different board. Currently browsing the clickabledata and commanddefs luas to try and figure out how to implement the interior lights so i can bind them to my rotary encoders. the only one i can use as an example is the formation lights and it is an icommand function. I guess i need to hit up zues67 to see where they are going to go with these in the near future.
-
possible solution? @Deezle you may be able to figure this out for me. I have a desktop aviator 2235 board that i use for easy on/off switches. this board sends a pulse each time you flip the switch http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Model_2230/index.htm the issue is with Razbam and the way the implement most of the coding for the switches doesn't allow me to use my "electrical panel" in my simpit which is mostly tied to the board. I had this issue with the mirage as well and wasn't able to resolve it wither. I've tried many variations in the coding but the reaction in game is always the same.....the switch flips on then immediately off. id like to avoid having to rewire these switches to a leo bodnar or a dsd that i have in my pit but would muck up how neat things are :megalol: Whats your take on this issue?

Check out this thread this thread adds the DECS as well as other bindings not implemented yet. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=196622

How can I use a 5 bit switch with DCS Bios?
Baldawg replied to Trounce's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Rotary Encoder This appears to be a rotary encoder which would require software to implement correctly. Pin 2 and 3 are for counter clockwise 4 and 5 are clockwise and 6 is for a push button. -
DCSFlightpanels (DCSFP) thread. Saitek Pro Flight Panels & DCS
Baldawg replied to a topic in DCS Modding
I'm a USER!! @ArturDCS....Ive been wondering if there was going to come a time when you my poke back in the forums for flight panels. Im still using mine to date and can say that i still love the app. It would be great if more of the modules available were included but completely understand, the lack of compensation would drive me away as well. I will tell you that there are many of my Squad mates that use Saitek panels with flight panels and i dont here any complaints from them at all. Just wanted to let you know that what you and pdmarsh have created has made an impact on the DCS community. -
Rocket Depression Angle i was successful in adding an axis for the rocket depression angle but it doesn't work as expected. i was browsing the forums to see if anyone had possibly added that feature but most of the modders in the "pit builder" realm have aded switch functionality. Seeing how belsimtek has their hands on the Hornet, Pantom and Hind its safe to say no new bells or whistles for this old bird.
-
@Kadda I did the very same thing with my switch gaurds, I put a simple momentary switch above the guard which is depressed when opened. The issue I have is that the guard doesn't hold enough pressure to keep the momentary down. I was going to bypass that idea and attach the signal wire directly to the guard and the ground to a solid location to make the connection.

Creator Update + Game Mode = USB Target Issues?
Baldawg replied to sobe's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Sobe has this caused issues for you using umfcd and your exports acting funny when turning your head with TIR? -
Your squad mates are mean bastards!
