To be honest, I find the bug quite amusing. I'd like to be able to do it with something like F15.

Soo I flew my 101 again, and here is what happened. Have a look at the speed at the bottom. Apparently its capable of vertical climb while accelerating. What a plane.

Sooo whenever I uncage the sight, I have a problem with aiming. The sight goes off the display glass panel whenever I make even a slight movement and it is very difficult to estimate where it is, which leads to many missed shots. I've found similar issue with the F86, but there its managable. I play with G force head movement enabled btw, so I can imagine that adding a bit to the overall problem, but even with it off, the sight still goes way off. Anyone care to share their ways of dealing with this slight problem?

How does one install the A10A Standalone aircraft for DCS 1.5? A friend of mine just bought that plane a while back on sale, and whenever he attempts to install it, it says that it requires DCS1.2, and since he only has 1.5 installed, the installation cannot proceed. I've told him to try and get it off the in-game modules menu however there it says he needs to buy it, even though he bound the key to his DCS account before. Any ideas?

Soooooo I just reinstalled my modules, and this is what happens when I attempt to run MiG21. Well from what I understand of this error message, it seems to say that there is another activation running, however this is the only activation the game autoruns, so it should be the only one running. Any ideas? Im on Win10 btw if thats of any importance.

So I'm having a problem where my Ka50 module will not download and install on Steam. Steam finishes the 1.8GB download of the module, then it simply reappears in the downloads list under "Update queued" and the whole download process starts all over again. Anyone out here know a possible solution to this problem?

Cant seem to be able to find repair. Im using steam version of dcs though.

Will repair remove my control settings?

No cockpit mods, it refuses to work. :S Can someone walk me through step by step on how to use it? I might be missing something.

Im unable to use the front panel that comes with those bombs. I've tried using mouse, looking for binds in options menu(tried looking for PBK-3 controls, as thats the only name for the panel i found on the web). As Im unable to click the buttons with my mouse, or flipping the switches with my keyboard, I simply cannot use the bombs :S Any idea what Im doing wrong? My plane is set to GN Weapon mode and bombardment in ASP, but its still not working. Best I can do at the moment is dump unarmed bomb by pulling too many Gs, but thats not even close to using these things right :D

Yes, I forgot to mention but in the video I've posted, when you can hear the brake sound, I actually wanted to hit the autopilot disengage bind which I've bound to a button next to wheel brake, so shortly after that sound is when I turned it off.

Next time I attempt this will get a recording too. Thanks for your input. Update: Got it working. The reason why the T and K popped up seemed to be that I was completely off the landing approach path, as soon as I get reasonably close to it, the T/K signs go off and Im able to start centering the yellow lines and then engaging the autopilot. So far the only issue I've encountered is the fact that since Im not flying the plane, getting trimming right for when I turn the autopilot off and try to touch down is difficult, but I will work that out with a bit of practice. Thanks for your help guys. Update 2: Ok, so I can get the approach right, but touch down is still an issue. Heres is the vid: What am I doing wrong? Seems like Im going too slow(speed on touchdown about 280km/h) and too steep. Adding the video player here doesnt seem to work, so just have the link instead. God dammit, I can land P51, Mi8, Sabre but not this. :/

The throttle problem is definitely an error I've made, will retry the landing with these two tips. Thank you very much guys ^^. Will edit the mission and remove all weapons as well as pull the fuel quantity to something low, just to make sure Im not overweight. Buzzles mentioned 700L, can someone try to translate the max landing weight into Kg/lbs/whatever? thanks.

Hello again, So I have owned the MiG21 for a few days now, Im fairly competent at flying it, I can do pretty much anything I want, except landing. I just cannot get a good approach to the runway which results in me slamming the rear of my plane too hard and burying the gear in the runway or completely breaking it off. So I have looked around the forum and found xxJohnxx's landing tutorial which features the autopilot system, it basically flies the plane to the runway for you, and all you really gotta do is touch down yourself. However after I copied the mission he used, where he starts over the water, west of Batumi airport(I think thats the most southern AF), and then tried to use the autopilot to take care of the approach for me, it simply refused to work. Im pretty sure I have the all of the switches in the right position(RSNB channel 16, switch to the left of that in Up position, switch next to nose wheel lock in down position). The gauge which shows how close to the optimal landing approach I am ends up showing a red T and red K a the top left/right corners and blocking the autopilot from engaging. This happens right away, or shortly after I engage the autopilot(it drifts off to the left or right, disengages then the red T and K show up). Could someone point out why that is? Also any other useful tips for landing in general are welcome, so far I have never landed the plane successfully, which makes me sad :(

Yes i might've been wrong about it being the oil temp, the one i was talking about is the smaller meter on the left side. Either way, is this bug actually "dangerous"?

Hello, Im a P51 noob, only had this thing for few days so talk to me like Im a complete moron please :D So I have two questions, one is about the Oil temp and the other about super charger. So about the oil temp. No matter what I do, changing radiator top fully open/closed, or lowering/increasing MP/RPM, it simply won't go down under 100 degrees, which is above the norm, according to the labels in the cockpit gauges. And before you ask, yes I am aware that when idling on the ground I should put the parking brake on and put the MP and RPM up a little bit to ensure that the cooling system gets enough air(or something lol.). I have these oil temp issues mostly in the air. And the second question I have, regarding super charger is that I simply cannot turn it on. I tried climbing to 3.5km alt, switching it from auto to low, then high, and it just flips itself back to low, refusing to activate. Could someone point out what Im doing wrong? Thanks.

This seems to be true. I've reported before that the problem was gone for the first mission launch I did after reinstalling, and I remember that just before loading that mission I changed graphical settings, one of them being view distance. Well good to know that this will be resolved during next update, gonna keep it at low anyway, my A8-3870K Quad cant really handle this game well rofl.

No help on DCS Site, no help from Leatherneck Simulations on their site via contact form, no dev help here. Nice one guys. When people pay £30 for a single plane they expect quality and not screwed up textures and no support :D
