  1. Thanks for the reply, Flagrum. Here's the log, as requested. autoupdate_log.txt
  2. Hey guys. After my last thread, I've finally got DCS World installed, and the A-10C module installed successfully. I have to start the Georgian Hammer campaign all over, but that's not big deal, so if I get any more serious crashes, I'll post again, but... In the bottom of my DCS World home screen, my version number is 1.2.3.10201. Is this the currently-up-to-date version of DCS World? I ask because the only modules available for purchase on the bottom of the home screen are A-10C (purchased and installed), Combined Arms, FC3, Ka-50 2, P-51D, and Su-25T (included). There's no option for the Fw-10D, F-86, Bf-109K, MiG-21, Huey, Mi-8, etc., only those listed above. Selecting Update from the Start menu, or executing <dcs_updater.exe update> from the cmd only brings up the "Searching for Updates" window, then nothing. Only once did it find a new update, and downloaded it, but apparently didn't install. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks!!
  3. ...If anyone needs the info, my OS is Windows 7 x64 bit. Please, guys. Any help would be most appreciated.
  4. My apologies for the delayed response here, but several more problems have arisen since my last post. Since the game last crashed, about 5 days or so before I posted this thread, I decided to uninstall my stand-alone Blackshark due to lack of playing, and lack of funds to upgrade to BS2 any time soon. Since uninstalling Blackshark stand-alone, the start menu entry for DCS World had disappeared... the Eagle Dynamics entry in the Start menu was empty. I uninstalled DCS World, and since re-installing, I've gotten nothing but errors left and right. To start, the auto-updater won't work because while installing updates, it says something about a "json type error." I let that go and try to start DCS World via the Desktop shortcut. No-go. The "Checking for updates" box comes up, then a Dos-type box, then nothing. So I go to Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/Launcher.exe, and it gives me an error stating that I'm missing MSVCP110.dll A quick visit to Google, a download of the file, and a placement of the file into my System32 folder later, I go back to Launcher.exe, and it gives me another error with a bunch of Zero's... I can't remember which, and my Google history isn't pulling it up for some reason... Anyway, I've searched my symptoms in Google, and come to some useful threads, but it seems nothing is working. DCS World was working fine before I uninstalled Blackshark, barring the mission freezes. I'd really appreciate any help I can get on getting it back up, running, and hunky-dory again. Thanks guys!!
  5. Sithspawn, let me double-check that real quick. I know whenever I start DCS World, it automatically searches for updates and applies them when necessary, so I'm assuming so, but I'll double check just to be sure.
  6. Edit: Ok, so I couldn't attach the log to the previous post because the attachment thing said it was an invalid file type, or something. It was DCS.log., and I can't post it in a reply because there are far too many characters. Any ideas? Thanks, guys!!
  7. Hey guys. I posted this over at SimHQ several days ago and haven't gotten any responses, and I'm eager to get this fixed so I can get back in the cockpit. Here's the situation: The game has crashed twice in a row on me. I'm on my eighth mission in the Georgian Hammer campaign with CA. The first time, I take off to do the western JTAC's tasking, finish with him, RTB to rearm and refuel, and while taxying to take off, DCS CTD's. The second time, I hadn't even made it back to base yet from finishing with the western JTAC when it crashed. On the crash report, for the second crash, I keep seeing a repeating phrase at the bottom. It says, "ERROR Trigger: Can't execute trigger, err." It says it multiple times. I have no idea what this means. I'll add the full log to this post. If anyone can shed some light on this, it would be highly appreciated. Thanks guys!!
