  1. Yes but you can only integrity check entire files, not specific lines in a file
  2. You cannot integrity check graphics.cfg, then nobody can join because everyone uses different settings for it. Some use high details, some low etc
  3. Fps tweak ideas I've made the following 3 changes which lets me run medium details 4xAA/AF 1920x1200 and get more than 80 fps in the F-15 quick mission zoomed out. It is not always perfect, but for me it makes the game look a lot better and smoother. This is nothing official, just my own personal ideas on how to improve performance.   5. missiles tend to use better loft paths (or maybe just my imagination). From what ive seen this favors shooting from a high altitude

  8. Missiles are the same fired from AI as fired from human. I would guess(could be wrong) that more effort goes into modelling missile types which are useable by human flyable aircraft than missile types solely carryable by AI. An AMRAAM is still an AMRAAM, fired by AI or human doesn't really matter. If you believe evading missiles is super easy, i suggest you try it yourself, maybe you will find it not so easy ;).

  10. You can always map trim to an axis, maybe a custom slider or rotator next to you for example.
  11. I think multi core will work fine in XP also. (xp32 here with classic E8400 3.0 GHz c2d)

  15. Something could be up with your rotation or drivers. I use 180 degree rotation on my touch screen because I have it mounted upside down, it works fine with leavu2 for me. (small screen below my main monitor in my sig pic) Are you saying your windows desktop is rotated but Leavu2 is not? Works for me in portrait mode, so I guess it could be a driver issue(?): Sidenote: I must say that GLLines look like sh*t with ATi cards. My GTX260 has much better image quality in leavu2 than my ATi HD4870. Image above is on the ATi card since the nvidia machine is packed ready for moving. (im moving)

  17. My 5 yr old laptop can run a few LEAVU2 (4-6) displays at full FPS(30-50), but it is also a quite powerful laptop. (1st gen core duo) The main performance problem in leavu2 are the JOGL-native calls that I cannot affect, but maybe we will upgrade to a newer JOGL interface in the future which could improve performance. JOGL : Java<->OpenGL interface

  20. The new sound engine in FC2/DCS is multicore and I dont think you need windows7/Vista to see gains for that. For graphics performance however I guess win7 could run faster, since drivers could be differently optimized for multi core systems. EDIT: Darn, EtherealN was faster!

  22. hehe, people often forget...A2G may completely change. Remember ground units in FC2 share ai behaviour and capabilities with DCS ;) They wont sit there without shooting back at you, not only dedicated AD units!

  24. If you want to trim for a stable flight path I would suggest using path hold autopilot (ALT-1) for a second and then disable it with (ALT-9) when it is stable. Then you have perfect trim.
  25. This is not a bug, it is simply because these aircraft do not have any auto-trim except for enabling autopilot. When you change speed you must re-trim, or use autopilot for help. The only aircraft in lockon with autotrim always on is F-15. This will not change in FC2.
