  1. The new DLC update is using 8K textures which are graphics card demanding. That might be the reason why you feel a performance hit. Best, SW
  2. --------------------------------------- DLC Update 2 --------------------------------------- UPDATE 2.0 released! Dear Simmers, I am happy to announce the release of the second update for this DLC. This time it is really huge. Almost every texture has been retouched. Specially the noise, fields and mountais are completely new based on the feedback I received. This update contains the following features: - new 8K noise textures for all seasons - new 8K mountain textures for all seasons - new fields - winter textures for runways added - adjusted trees - new distance textures - adjusted villages, roads, borders … File is available here: download torrent is on route! Installation via JGSME. Unzip file, copy and paste the complete content into your JGMSE-mod folder and overwrite old files. Best, Starway
  3. OK, looks like I found it out by myself :) This will be implemented with the next update. Best, SW
  4. It is a limitation of DCS. Right now, there is only one season for the vanilla high-res runway textures. The former low res textures which has been replaced by this DLC are "season sensitive". Thanks for the support! SW
  5. No, I don't have a clue when the 2.5 version will come out.
  6. Great! I'm glad I could help. Just to let you guys know: Right now I am working on a new 8K noise texture which is less "noisy" and more lively and some other adjustments. Summer and spring is done. Everything should be ready by next week. This will be the last big update before converting the DLC to T4. All the best, Starway
  7. Yes, they are included. It adjusts the intensity/contrast of the noise texture. The lower this value is, the less contrast the base textures have. Best, SW
  8. You can find the link in the first post of this thread.
  9. Thanks Mustang! That's what I was just about to post. It is really easy to create customized config files. The files are located in your JGSME folder under config/terrain. Here you can find several lua files: Extreme, high, medium … choose the one which is representative for the option you select in the game menue. Means if you select extreme visibility in the game, you should edit the file which is called extreme.lua. Look for the line which says "noisemax = …" Reducing the value means less detail on the ground by improoving visibility of ground units. Best, SW
  10. Thanks for your feedback, but both of your comparison pictures are showing parts of my textures. For example the ones you declare as Normal DCS still have my "small noise"(grass texture which is visible when you are very close). So I take this as a compliment. :) Best, SW
  11. Dear uboats, That's exactly how it is toned right now. Best, SW
  12. Hello, I wrote already back to you. You might have missed it. Anyways, if you are looking for instructions, you can find them in the first post of this thread. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2795895&postcount=1 All the best, SW

  14. Sorry guys, looks like a wrong file got slipped in into the zip. I will create a new one. Download availability is on hold until the new file is up. Best, SW
  15. So the missing textures also appears with no mods installed? Or does it only appear with the Caucasus DLC installed (and no other mods)? Can you open this mission with the mission editor and tell me which object it is? Thanks, SW
  16. Looks like missing textures on the FARP object which is weird because they are untouched by this DLC. Did you had it before the latest update too? Any other mods installed? Best, SW
  17. Can you be a bit more specific? What is the difference? The folders should be identical. Best, SW
  18. The update is a "standalone" version with all necessary texture zips included. You can wether remove the old version or just overwrite it in your JSGME folder. Best, SW
