Sorry guys, but there might be a missunderstanding about the Airports. The old buildings textures have been updated indeed. Of course, some got more attention, some less. What is not part of this DLC is an update of the runways. See screenshots of the Airport buildings attached: -

New 3D models, grass included, are not part of this DLC. But objects like trees and grass are mainly designed by a combination of the alpha channel and overlayed texture. Both of it has been updated for this product. I will provide more footage about low level flying and on ground movement soon. As long as these mods do not affect the zipped files, there should be no problems with compatibility. Not right now, but an update is planned for it. Thank you for calling attention to this. First post has been updated. This DLC has no effect on 3D-models, map-mesh and uv mapping. But ED is working on this issue. -

As described in the first post, this mod also includes the distant textures (low res background textures) which have more contrast. These textures have a big effect on the overall look of the map. Same with the modified config files. -

The new texture set was created from scratch. So there is not much left of the Northern Europe Mod :) -

Caucasus Map Texture DLC by Starway This DLC is a complete retexturing of the existing DCS World Caucasus map to provide a new and improved look and feel. The objective of this DLC is not just to create more modern graphics, but to also make the map more resemble this geographic region. This has been accomplished by basing most of the textures on satellite images of the Caucasus region. Specially, the fields and grass areas much better match this region than the default map textures. Beyond that, a great deal of time and effort has done into creating new building textures. They are high resolution now and are also based on the actual region. This is also true for the trees, surface textures beneath urban areas, and of course the mountains. These are remarkable changes to giving this map a huge level of improvement. This DLC also contains features that are less apparent, such as: all the lua files (files for terrain configuration) has been improved, better road textures, updated noise and clutter textures, and the border textures between fields. The mod should work in 1.5+, but you have to rerrange the folders because now, the terrain folders changed their location to the mods/terrain folder. So the only thing you have to do is locate the folder "vfstextures" in the mod folder structure, copy and paste it to your DCS main directory into: mods/terrains/caucasusbase/… Don't forget to select fall in the mission editor. I had the same problem with a tanker I was working on. First problem is that the ai is not reacting on the connectors. So I had to define the coordinates of the refuelling receptacle in code, which really took a while. Then the ai just did not react on the tanker. I tried many options. Nothing worked. In the end I gave up and used the russian tanker as a base and made a mod which transformed it to the victor tanker. Not the best solution, but I guess the tanker functionality is deep coded and won´t work for another plane.
