Not an expert but if a HTS can be fitted on any F16 then it expands the realm of possibilities on a lot of variants . You can also use the Harm as a sensor before engaging but it's a pain compared to Using it with HTS.

Some people like older aircrafts, nothing wrong with that. Your statement about people being scared of the Amraam is quite condescending.

The thing is lots of people want a F16 but among those not everyone wants the same variant. And I believe an early model without all the bells and whistles would receive a rather cold welcome from the community.

Anyone would be up for an F-16 prior to block 20? or as Tirak, block 40 and up? (just curious)

The F-18 and Razbam's Harrier are very much exciting to me! Given the pace of development a F-16 May not be around the corner for a while anyways.

Do as you want, I'm not interested enough to pay for a F16 to use for the online free for all scene of DCS atm. Don't get me wrong I play and enjoy DCS but I'm having more fun with the 21

Y'all don't get it, the data is fine. The 530D is the high drag bomb version. You have a better chance of a A2A kill by lobbing Mk82 XD

Ok thanks for the tips. I'm getting interested in the matter a few years too late sadly. We had access to lots of publications in Engineering School when doing the master thesis and never thought to check such subjects. Subscription is well cancelled now I'm afraid. There was some "wild" papers though, remember one about seagull soaring on waves to cross long oceanic distance, pretty unexpected subject but was a nice read from what i can remember.
