so, I got this new software, and for the hell of me, I cant make it tuned good enough to use. has anyone tinkered with it and can share his profile for the OpenTrack app?

as the title says, it happens about 20 mins in, and I hope it's not an internal hardware issue, like RAM or something. I had an automatic page file with 10GB, and changed it manually to 30GB-70GB. I have 64GB of ram and a 3090, so I believe it's not a memory issue. here is the log: dcs.log

So my 3rd amplifier died on me in a span of 3 years. I can't fly without it, but won't but another one that will die on me so fast. The transducer is fine What Amp should I buy that has the capacity and connections?

issue solved: seems like in a new windows installation, the default network mode is "public", which makes communication to external devices impossible. so.. changing to "private", along with connecting both PC and tablets to the same WIRELESS network, solved the issue. PW helped me figure this out. on a wired Ethernet on the PC and wireless on the tablet, it doesn't work at all.

I used to fly with P33tr's DCS UFC and DCS Nav apps, and loved them immensely. But on windows 11 stable and after the recent DCS updates, the apps don't work anymore: the COMM manu does work, but all data that goes from the PC to the tablet is dead. it used to work fine, I have all ports etc. open, firewall rules in & out, correct IP addresses in the config. But nothing works. anyone else suffering this or has a smart workaround? Config.lua

for me the fix was formatting to win11 stable version. since then it was clear skies for me

for me everything if fine. there seems to be a stability issue with the insider version

I was signed up for the DEV version, so for me it was a complete wipe, format and re-install from scratch. I'm.. I'm not a developer as it seems

Of course. I did it. But now I'm formatting to a clean stable 11 install. Because my PC is only a DCS machine, a bug like this renders it to a mere brick. And an expensive one at that. So.. It's not for me.

I just rolled back DCS with cmd. windows had an update today in the dev channel, so I did it as well. for now, all seems to be working fine. so its an issue where dcs and win 11 ie dont play well

I wish I knew.. I'm trying to troubleshoot with ED's team right now. They think that's maybe an issue with win11 preview. But I already suspected it, and formatted the the stable version. Still the same.

Thanks for the thought man, yes, I did try another regular keyboard. My main o e is k95 from corsair, with icue software. It's a DCS issue I believe

I did that, and even reinstalled windows and dcs from scratch. same behavior. It's sad and frustrating

unfortunately, this is not the solution. I can trigger this bug mainly by pressing F10, and t hen waiting for it to get stuck on me. maybe this will help: DxDiag.txt dcs.log

Mainly in the Apache module, where this issue is most affected, the keyboard stops working after about 3 minutes of playing. I run it vanilla, after cleaning and repairing. I'ts become completely unplayable. Every module has this behavior. No xbox controller is connected. At first I thought a modifier was at fault, so I deleted the throttle switch assignment and reverted to default. No joy. Then, I thought the the "show ruler" button on the F10 map was the culprit - no it wasn't. this seems to be happening after about 2-4 minutes in the game. Best I was able to reproduce was to start cold (everything works fine), then make the craft go alive. by the time it starts up, all keyboard commands are not working. But TrackIR and ALT+TAB commands do work. Only way to exit DCS is by killing it from task manager. In the Apache, it always happens after about 2 minutes in. other modules are a bit more stable, and it happens randomly. I'm at a loss here.DxDiag.txt what do I do and how can I report this? it does work in anything else, yes. I see now that I can reproduce this in the apache by pressing L.ALT+C, and then it loses all functionality. in the apache my mouse doesn't seem to pan in F2 or do zoon in or out with the wheel. in other modules it does though.
