Do certain units need to be together or do you just need a radar and launcher ?

I think I put them as one group, but not sure as trigger set up is new to me. I labeled them different and they were two different items in the trigger.

I am working on a Vietnam map and have put a SAM unit in place around a helo FARP and can't get them to fire. The units I have placed in action are the SAM HAWK TR AN/MPQ-46 & SAM HAWK LN M192. I have set triggers to weapons free in both waypoint triggers and triggers without any success. Am I missing another unit to make these work or are my triggers wrong ? I have gone through the manual but it's a little out dated.

I am new to the DCS flight sim and I am fine tuning the controls and there are two places to program the bindings. Which should I use for the bindings, Game or Sim (Real) settings ? I have an Siatek X45 that I am using.
