Hey thanks for the info ! I've only read about Mist and not to sure how to use it, but I will learn someday. I kinda like the idea of the work around the game has. Makes knocking out a bridge something more than just dropping a bomb on it. Looks like a little more target planning has to go into it, which is fine.

I was running a multiplayer mission last night and one of the targets were two bridges to take out. Taking out these bridges would stop a convoy from getting to it's destination and there for be easily picked off, but by the time we got back to the convoy after blowing up the bridges, we noticed the convoy was past the bridges and heading to their destination. I did not get a chance to return to the bridges and see first hand the status. So my question is, are bridges self repairable and if so, whats time length on destruction ?

Script newbie I have never used a script before, but I've read about them in the forums and love what they do to the game. Looking at yours it's seems simple enough for a newbie. Is this something I could try without any steep learning curve or needed software ? I love what you've shown hear and is something I wanted to do for a long time. I miss his type of mission making coming from IL2 1946 with the Dynamic campaign manager. I'm going to download it and stare at it for a while and see what I can do with it. I write missions for a small group of guys and I just get tired of knowing whats going to happen. Even with randomizing you still kinda of know whats going to happen. Looks neat and thanks for you hard work to make the game even more enjoyable.

Been scouring the forums for a fix for the nasty glare on the HUD glass in the Su-25T. This glare makes impossible to see your target in low light conditions. Is there a fix out there or do we just run missions in high sun conditions ? Which I don't like to do ! Thanks guys for any info or direction to fix this glare.

I'm looking for that solution also. I've watched a couple of videos on how to set it up, but it's not working. The videos are kind of dated, so I figured things have changed, as they have for many items in the mission editor. I seem to be having more issues with the helos than any other modules in the mission editor. The videos showed to set it up just like you said it. Troops transmit on FM channel and Huey homes on same frequency.

Thanks for the video link. I've seen this BANJO video before, but didn't think that I would have to use this for an AI wing man. I will give this a try and see what the results are. I just want my wing man to engaged the same targets as I do. Even using the wing man radio commands, it still won't engage. Will post the results. thanks again

I've tried everything I can think of to get my AI wing man to fire it's weapons. I have it set to be weapons free at way-point 0 and also do nothing for threats. It follows me like it should, but just doesn't engage any enemy at all. I've been having a lot of problems with helicopters in the mission editor lately, does anybody know if this a bug or am I just not setting the parameters correctly ? Thanks for the help..

Mine too ! As soon as try to add an aircraft to an existing mission. I've even tried a clean slate with same results.

I don't know if it's me or if the updates that have changed things, but some of the key bindings aren't working for me. I am working on a custom labeled keyboard just for the A-10A that I can just plug in and use. While going through and weeding out the useless key bindings and coming up with a list of needed functions, I tested the final list of bindings and discovered some had no function. I was wondering if these were something that I was just missing or if it was the norm. My first observation is that there is no indicator for the ECM. Others I've noticed are the salvo key, RWR mode keys and flashlight key. These are some off the top of my head because I don't have my notes in front of me. Could someone confirm or point out what I'm missing here. I'm trying to make a functional list to match to a dedicated keyboard and to simplify for instructing others in my squad wanting to fly the A-10A.

The ever changing mission editor has brought me to guys to ask the question, Mist or Moose ? Could somebody point out the differences if any ? I've read a few things on the forum and have visited hogitworld for some information on these two script programs. Are they capable of the same things. Is what I'm seeing the written scripts that look different ? It looks like I will need to learn one of these to get the effects I want in my missions. I'm not new at mission building, but not an expert either. I understand the triggers and conditions for the most part. Just want to open up more options for my missions. If they do the same thing, which would be easier to use ? Thanks guys, love the community !

I've searched for a solution and more instructions on this kinda out dated software and I have had no luck. I'm turning to you guys for help or maybe another suggestion. I've installed the latest version of helios on a windows 7 machine and two monitor set up. I'm exporting my mfcd's and the CDU, both work fine. Oh and I'm running the 2.5 Open BETA. Helios shows up and my exports are there just like they should be. My problem is the key binding. I've followed a couple of install videos and I can not get any of my buttons to work. I get everything assigned and fire up DCS and visually everything is there and the buttons move when clicked on ' but there is no function. I run everything as administrator while setting things up. I'm just at a loss and can't find a direction to go for a fix. I've heard of another program called Ikarus' how does it compare ? I'd really like to find a solution to the button problem since everything is set up and working visually. Thanks for any help or direction to go !

I have downloaded and installed the sample mission, but can't get them to work. I have been seeing a lot of talk about MIST, is this something I need to run script.

Hey guys, I'm trying to program some Su-27's to refuel after take off and then proceed on their intercept mission. There are no advance way-point options that I can find for either the 27's or the IL78. I know I have seen this option somewhere, but it is evading me. I read in the forums that they only have to be close to one another, but not working either. I have tried to change fuel load out and they just rtb instead of hooking up to the tanker. Their fuel range is a hinder to the whole mission. I need to also extend the range of some back up F-18's also. Any ideas to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated. If need be I can attach the miz file. Thanks guys love the mission making !

I have yet to work with script. I think this is above me at the moment. I have know idea where place this or activate it. Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for, but will have to wait I guess.

I am working on a mission with several convoys in it. I would like to be able to get troops to disembark from vehicles when attacked. So maybe troops jump out with man pads and ak's to help defend the convoy. Would this just be a simple spawn trigger?

I have trigger 1 and 4 the same because it is two different units. If one was destroyed I thought the other would still activate the convoy. It was just a guess at setting that up.

I am trying to bring ships into the harbor that trigger a motor convoy to activate and travel to the airfield to activate the helicopters to activate aand then end up landing in maykop. My ships come into harbor as planned but do not activate the convoy.

I found a thread in here with an example of how to mod the Conf/views/labels.lua file to change the size and distance at which the label appears. Since the update it has been over written and now I can not locate this information. If someone knows what I am talking about, could you please direct me the right direction. Thanks
