Is anyone out there interested in doing a Middle Eastern camo skin for the 19 ? I've looked at the skin files and saw there's nothing out there other than the typical bare metal / green camo patterns . Here's an example of a Syrian one . Thanks , Bolt

I am seeing some particular weird stuff with the Viggie , bought it yesterday , downloaded it , started flying it and about 5 min in , the game locks up and I have to restart PC , 2nd time , Im flying it for about 10 min , I start playing with switches , as soon as that happens , screen locks up or kicks me out to desktop , this is the only bird that is doing this , I've uninstalled , reinstalled and it flies fine , until I start flipping switches , then its the same thing all over again , any help on this is appreciated , I like to get this resolved . I prefer to just use TS3 , it’s already installed and I just don’t want to mess with setting up another 3rd party voice program , besides rumor has it DCS is going to implement its own player commo system soon . On another topic , Alpenwolf would you consider alternating the R60M and AIM9PS loadouts in at least some of the maps ? That would be awesome sir , not every map , just some .

Can anyone tell me why to this day the devs have not fixed the P-51 Engine sound ? they go they claim to all this detail on this plane and the Spitfire and both still sound like lawnmowers , how hard would it be ? there are plenty of these birds still around to copy the correct sounds , and NO I don't want to have to resort to a sound mod for this , we shouldn't have too . Panzer..I had same issue..I installed patch before deactivating the Mig21 and couldn't fly it ..so heres the easy fix ,.go into regedit > hhkey software>leathenecksimulations. right click folder and delete it. ( make sure you have your license key for Mig21 ) once you deleted folder..click out and log into DCS , the screen will splash with a request for Mig 21activation key...enter key and you're good to go..I did it just like that and I have my Mig back . Cheers..

So whens the fix ? because right now I can't fly the damn thing because of some patch has royally screwed it up .

When I go to install the Spitfire , I'm getting an ( ' unknown module Spitfire ) error message ..any ideas on what is happening ? I bought this bought module an was hoping it would go without a hitch . Bolt

Figured it out , but it's weird . After all the fooling around with installing / reinstalling DCS and the Mirage Module and swearing at it all in the process :mad: , I decided to back up the game on an external HD . I went in the DCS folder and hit the "Run" icon and started the game and VOILA ! no issue with the Mirage ! :thumbup: . So I'm thinking there's something weird going on with my C drive ..nope . I go back into DCS World folder on C drive and click on the "Run" icon and game starts up with no issues and I fly the Mirage with no issues . Now its either a corrupt DCS shortcut that was put on desktop or ..I have my DCS World folder in wrong file on C drive. the game is in my regular Program Files in C . I'm running Windows 7 Premium X64 btw .

I reinstalled DCS World (not the Beta or 2.0 ) and I noticed I'm back to having the problems with the Mirage FPS , it's running about 1-3 FPS on normal time and it's a horrible slide show , but if I slow the time down 1 speed , it actually doesn't stutter as bad which makes no sense to me at all , when I hit the escape key to bring up the menu , it's the same deal , I can move with TRACKIR with no stutters , go back into game at normal time speed , it goes to a slideshow . I have reinstalled game , repaired game , reinstalled Mirage Module 2x to no avail . So, is it DCS World it doesn't like ? do I need install the Beta and try that ? Thanks , Bolt

Solty , JCOMM, what are your typical trim settings before you enter a dogfight and is the Aux fuel tank correct now as to where you burn it off first for improved maneuvrability?

I had to reinstall DCS World and that fixed the Mirage problems . now I get kicked off game sometimes with " DCS stopped working " BS..I always log in as administrator so that's not it..all drivers are updated so I'm still working that one ..but hey I can fly the Mirage now. :smilewink: I just need to get the DCS not working issue resolved and they need to patch the Mirage because the missile breaking lock is getting annoying .

I did ..same low FPS stutter show

I did setup a Mirage AI in Mission Editor . FPS was outstanding and there were no issues.. attached screenies

On the resource monitor , I'm just using the Mig21 as a base comparison to the Mirage because its comparable to my other modules . Mig-21 : Commit is 3,809,708 KB with 2,262,616 Working . Mirage : Commit is 4,403,872 KB with 2,614,120 Working it doesn't matter what view I use for Mirage ..FPS is still 1-2 . This is the only module I've done the in game download with . All the others I downloaded off DCS web page ..activated them in game and I have had no issues at all with them .

Here some screens , if you can suggest how I can capture it on video and send , I can do that also .

Ok , I tried all the suggested fixes ..nothing helped . I am getting an average of 60+ FPS with all my other DCS modules and no kidding ..I'm getting 2 FPS with the Mirage . I have set all my settings to low , I have removed mods , repaired DCS numerous times , removed / reinstalled the Mirage ..I even went in to MSCONFIG and suspended most applications to where only 810mb of 8 GB was being used ..that changed nothing .still only 2 FPS . I am dumbfounded as to why the plane is sucking so much memory just sitting on a tarmac . What else can I do ? $ 40 of my beer fund was diverted for this plane and I can't enjoy it .

Matte , as soon I click "fly" on the Mirage whether offline or online ..the graphics goes crazy. everything starts moving in slow motion ..it takes seconds to go from F1 , F2, F3 etc . I tried to set up controls and nothing works ..outside AI moves in a jerk ..I know I've beat a dead horse . but its only doing this with the Mirage ..when you pause the mission ..everything moves fine ..I thought it was TRACKIR related , but it isn't . I'm almost certain its something in the plane file .

Well mine is definitely bugged ..unplayable . all other modules are fine..I have repaired / reinstalled DCS Open Beta , reinstalled all my modules and the only one that is unplayable is the Mirage . Is there something that I can additionally download to fix ? or maybes send a copy of my Mirage file to for someone to have a look ?

My Specs are W7 Home Premium Intel Core2 Q9650 3GHZ @ 3003 MHz Nvidia Geforce GTX 660TI 8192 RAM Scored 1108 on NovaBench . Again tho..its the Mirage and nothing else on DCS or any other Sims that I play . Thanks for the quick response I appreciate it . Bolt

Don't know if anyone else is having issues with the Mirage , but I just purchased it and downloaded it thru the module manager . Upon clicking on fly on a mission , everything goes into slow motion or freezes . If I pause the mission , I can look freely around fine with my TRACKIR , unpause it then it goes back to freezing and stuttering . All my other Modules are fine , I have no issues at all , so this leads me to suspect there is a corrupt file with this particular aircraft .
