Thanks much for directing me to this thread. It was a lot to read but, a really great read. I wish I had know about this guide 2 years ago when I started out with the Warthog before moving to the Hornet last year as my go to module. However, I haven't come across anything that addresses my issue. Unless I'm missing something and can somehow add the "ControlsIndicator" to my Saved Games....\Monitor Setup specifying its X & Y coordinates for placement on my main monitor, I'm thinking that there must be a line (or several) in the ControlsIndicator.lua which tells it where to position it in the total monitor(s) setup.

Thanks for your input. My .lua file was probably corrupted. However, I replaced it with Rackham's Transparent Controls Indicator Mod and its working perfectly. I now have to figure out how export it to my main display rather than my 4th display.

Hi Raisuli. Thanks for eaching out. No apologies necessary, thats exactly what I'm looking to do. For the longest I've been tying to get the ControlsIndicator to show on my main monitor of a 4 monitor setup (34" 3440x1440, 32" 1920x1080, 8" USBTS 1024x600 and, a 5" 600x800). Realizing that my .lua script was probably broken, I replaced it with Rackham's Transparent Controls Indicator mod and it worked perfectlly. However, its exporting to my 8" display which is used for my F18 Helios UFC export. As I indicated, I want it to show on my main screen while in HUD only mode. How do I edit the ControlsIndicator.lua script that will change the Indicators screen position on a multi-monitor setup.

For the umpteenth time. Can anybody tell me how to get the Controls Indicator to show. RCntrl+Eneter ain't working.

BTW. Although I've got other modules, I'm only flying the Hornet.

Yeah - from the start - I've been pressing Right Ctrl + Enter. BIGNEWY. I'll send my dcs.log after my next attempt. Thanks for the support guys. I'll be back.

When I attempt to display the Controls Indicator window by pressing Right Ctrl + Enter, the CI doesn't show. Does anyone have a descriptive guide on how to set it up.

Hi Rightstuff. Sure you're right. I started my overlay setup well before and in anticipation the Hornet's release. I modeled it on my BMS F-16 Falcon pit. So by the time I learned of Capt Zeen's fantastic work, it was way to late to retool my project.

I've encountered the same sit on takeoff and airfield landings. I've got the TM TRP which is pretty precise but, I still disable NWS. I want to get the sucker in the air or on the ground as efficiently as possible.

Yep. I tried 1.3.8.1. Still the same results. The Opps window. I'll see if I can roll back to a SSA version prior to 1.3.8.0 or even,1.3.7.5. Note, that I tried a system restore on Saturday but was blocked by Windows 10.

Frankly, I'm only set up for the Hornet. Not flying anything else. See my pit below:

Hi Blue and Rightstuff: It’s been awhile since I last checked in back in June. Been working like a dog all summer long and just didn’t have the time to get into the pit. However, I’m on staycation and have been diligently trying to get my DCS F-18C house in order. I’ve got a number of issues I’m attempting to remedy. They are listed in general below. But, note that I’ll request detailed assistance in separate posts rather than expect a global response for help in this post. Here’s what I’m looking for help on: 1. Has anyone got a separate bezel image for theF-18C’s HUD Control panel located below the UFC? 2. Similar question. Has anyone got at bezel for the F-18C’s RWR? 3. I’m also unable to show the Control Indicator on my main monitor after evoking the Right Control+ Enter Key function. Suspect it may have something to do with the ControIndicator.lua script. 4. Back in June, with f410’s and Blue’s help, I was able to get my SSA/Jetseat running along side Helios. However, when I updated to f410’s recent SSA ver. 1.3.8.0, followed by, the1.3.8.1 update – still No joy. Kind of frustrating as I’ve tried everything that I know (operative word – know) to get my Jetseat up and running - again. F410 is working with me on this problem. BTW, his SSA add-on is fantastic and, I greatly appreciate his ongoing support. Additionally, Andre’s Jetseat is the central piece of the kit for true immersion. In fact, I just pre-ordered his upgraded seat and can hardly wait for its arrival within the next couple of months. Thanks in advance for everyone’s potential input. My Helios Setup (still WIP):

Thanks much. I rolled back .NetFramework from 4.8.0 to 4.7.2. I’m also back to SSA Ver.1.3.7.5. Still no joy. And Yep, I’d appreciate your offer to send me a special version with a debug output so we can troubleshoot the problem and hopefully find a fix. BTW: Just ordered Andre’s new Jet Seat. I'm going to roll back my system to a date before my 10/07/19 SSA and Netframe updates in the hope of restoring SSA & HELIOS functionality.

Tried your suggestions. No Joy. All was working fine – SSA along side HELIOS – until I auto-upgraded to your SSA Ver. 1.3.8.0 and the required Netframe update. Even after removing my simshaker.lua file and having SSA create a new one (ver. 1.3.7.5) and reconfiguring my Saved Games\Scripts folder to place SimShaker’s dofiles above the HELIOS and Vaicom dofiles – No Joy. Not certain, but I’m thinking that the NetFrame upgrade may also be an issue with SSA ver. 1.3.8.0 and HELIOS playing nice. Would love to get a fix. All the best, Mike
