  1. Im having the same issues, my hardware isnt even close to sweating and the FPS is all over the place. Ive seen improvements on the CPU side from changing the windows processor scheduling priority to background services instead of programs. That seemed to help with the stutters. (most everything mentioned above ive done too) Also using the vr optimised shaders and culling added to the cgf file moved things in the right direction. Culling has been a known way of winning back performance for a pretty long time in VR so im a little surprised this is only now being played with. I feel like im chasing my tail a bit when in reality the VR side of things just needs a lot of work to get it optimised and into shape. Seems like the only way we are getting acceptable performance is through visual compromise or brut forcing the problem with very top-end hardware. Still hoping with every update for a significant VR improvement, but its been a fair few years now.
  2. Apologies if this has been covered, i did search but not sure what terms to use.. I fly X-Plane in the Rift with the touch controls and both Helis and Planes using the touch controllers to grab the flight sticks/collective/throttle etc When i loaded up DCS i was so please to see i could fly the Frogfoot by grabbing both the throttle and stick, im so used to it now and in many ways prefer it. Unfortunately none of my purchased models seem to do the same and i was hoping someone here could tell me why? My hotas is plugged in and obviously that works on all models, but when i load up the Huey or the A10C when i go to grab the flight stick or throttles nothing happens.. Is it literally just the Frogfoot and P51 that have this implemented at the moment or am i missing something? Thanks so much for your help, Neil
  3. still getting the error here but others have confirmed its now working in 2.0. fine in 1.5 but 2.0 keeps throwing this error.. Update: new update just landed for 2.0, i presume this is about to fix that! Will report back.
  4. ah! ok no problem. Yes it is one awesome plane :) :)
  5. Hi All, Has anyone had this at all? The M2000C became available on both platforms today, i installed it on 1.5 with no issue. Then went to install it on 2.0 and the installer crapped out saying 'module m2000c not recoginised' and since then its nowhere to be found on 2.0... very odd. Ideas? Cheers, Neil UK
  6. i was wondering about that, i might give it a go as the results in the dk2 are usually really good. Ill probably have to lower all the settings but should be an interesting experiment for my GTX980
  7. i wonder if it has to do with colour calibrating the screen to the CV1, which is perhaps what they are now working off of in the office? Just a though..
