Oculus Home can easily be turned off in the Oculus Home options so it never loads...
I did not find this in settings of Oculus Home. Could you explain? I use Oculus Tray Tool to minimize it, but 'Homeless' does not seem to work.

There IS a way to keep Oculus from updating... block it with the Windows Firewall.
Great idea! I also kill all its processes on boot and only launch before flying. Rift camera turning on at logon used to freak out me and my wife!

When you head over to Windows 10, be sure to do much research on removing the crap and spyware within the OS...it's not that hard and surely worth it. Keeps unwanted software from auto-reinstalling on it. I used C-Cleaner to successfully and permanently remove unwanted features from Windows 10...Good Luck!
Surely did that. I also have a laptop that came with Windows 10, so it's not totally new for me.

Thanks for your replies. I did figure out what was wrong with my setup! Windows 10 kept installing some random version of Nvidia driver via its updates. Had to yank the cable out while running DDU / reinstall. Now all is fine.

Well. I installed Windows 10, all drivers and DCS, but CANNOT install Oculus ((( When asked to proceed in VR, it is just dark. Tried to reinstall three times already, cleaning all folders, registry. Windows Defender off, all that stuff as per troubleshoots. Facebook support is useless. My Rift still works fine with Windows 7 install which I cloned to a spare HDD (dead slow!). Furious, came to went here (((

Hi guys. My Oculus Home just updated to version 12.1 and told me it will stop working on my Windows 7 after January 14, 2020! Try putting off the update if you are like myself happy with Windows 7.

Maybe not enough USB power to drive all your joysticks, VR etc? Try removing all the peripherals and plug them one at a time. I had something similar until I added a powered PCIe USB card (Inateck KTU3FR-5O2U).

Hello. I must be the last one flying this campaign (like many others, but I still have fun)! I refueled no problem after taxiing close to the refuel trucks. I did not even have to shut down the engines, just idled them. Then I took off, flew to Tverskaya, from there saw smoke, landed near the buses with crowds. And nothing! My navigator was quiet, chief too. I must have missed some triggers, but why?

Flew it today, the Mi28 engages only if you hold off long enough, and it only hits one vehicle. Then they scatter in the woods and become very hard to get. So the key is to start shooting yourself when the whole column is in the open area. But then yes, the Mi28 will just fly around doing nothing ((

Funny how trying to progress in this campaign I always get into some bugs, apparently introduced by DCS updates. I killed the armor, picked up the pilot, flew back to LZ1 just to find all the Alfa men lying dead in a circle. Trying to land there, I fall through the ground and get 'Mission Failed'. What the hell! It took me 5 attempts on the mission to get to this point )))) Latest 'STABLE' version lol....

I was told taking screenshots was disabled in my settings. I was able to join, but not to occupy any slots! Where is this option?

Nope, no can do autorotation landing. The heli blows up instantly... I am on 2.5.4 stable, if that matters.

But it blew up )) the pilot died/blacked out. I mean it fell apart in the air, no chance to land. Ok, will try again...

Wow, loving the twist in the end of this mission! I was waiting for this to happen, even paused to look around in external views before and immediately after - but nothing. Not even a launch smoke. It is possible to complete with 100% score, or I should just move on?

Hello Forexkor/guys,
I'm stuck again ))). After killing everyone at Terek, I am told to fly to navpoint NR6 to finish some fighters. But I cannot find anybody there! I flied in circles over the village until my fuel ran out. And also, is it possible to save Bear? I started shooting as soon as he gave the order, and quickly killed all the fighers, but then he tells he is down. I even tried landing at the site, but it did not change anything. Alfa confirms all are dead after some time...

This may be it! I only turned on POS for the rotor - as the warning system suggested. Will also try engine intakes now.

Hello Forexkor! After finishing some other campaigns I finally returned to this one. I tried again 20 or so times to pass this mission but always get hit or run out of rockets. Maybe you could modify it to include SIX pods as the pilot thinks, and not 4? ))) Thanks!
