My latest WIP livery for the Mig-21.

So i found myself trawling through google for some cool plane liveries that i could try to replicate and stumbled across this Hungarian Mig-21 sporting quite a sexy looking livery. 2 hours later ive made my own. Still needs a few tweaks but its almost done. It will be available for download soon. Please also note that there are a few differences as there were so many variations of this livery i couldnt get all of them 100% correct. Its mainly the small badges dotted around that vary. The mouth isnt 100% aligned on the underside of the plane but this will be corrected soon. The eyes will also be changed to look more aggressive rather than scared lol.

Made some drastic changes to the skin. Pretty happy with how it looks now :) Will be used by the Cobalt Jet Team.

Found out that you can reskin planes on DCS yesterday so had a few hours play this morning learning how to do it. Came up with a couple that i didnt like and then this one which i personally think is pretty cool. Still learning but fairly happy with todays progress. p.s. yes i know i need to move the text a little on the bottom of the right wing. :)

Okay thanks for your help. I'll try it out shortly. Just another question, does the communications menu etc work if I'm using quick missions or does the airport have to be classed as friendly to my specific plane for it to work?

Hi guys, Again I can't seem to find anything regarding this at all. How do I request landing/takeoff permission from an airport? In videos on YouTube people have a menu that pops up on the top right corner. I can't seem to get that to show. Any help appreciated.

Ah okay so I need to use the editor to make them correspond to the plane in flying?

Can anyone help me with some basics that I can't seem to find the answer for anywhere. So basically I need to figure out how to rearm and refuel. Generally I use the Generate Quick Mission thing and play using the Hawk or Mig21. No mater what keys etc I press I don't seem to be able to communicate with any ground crews. I can bring up the rearm and refuel menu but I don't get a response from the ground crew. Obviously I'm doing something wrong but I'm unsure as to what?

Im still fairly new to DCS but i really enjoy it. Im more interested in aerobatics than military kinda action. Basically im after a wingman to fly with and practice some close formation stuff. I have FC3, Hawk and Mig21 modules. Ideally from the UK and available to play between 7-10pm ish.

Generally I fly F15c but I'm up for flying anything to be honest.

Hi guys/gals, Im Chris from the UK and im new to DCS World and flight sims. I fell in love with them pretty quickly and invested in TrackIR 5 and Saitek X52 this week. Basically im after a crew/friends to fly with. I like the game a lot already but i can imagine its a lot better playing with friends etc. Ive got a mic etc too so TS isnt a problem.
