Just to add to this topic, Steam doesn't seem to care what developers do as far as DLC when it comes to these things. This is a little bit different but when you think about what the ARK devs did releasing DLC while they were still in early access, Steam didn't get involved nor give a shit. I think they could release the Hornet as a DLC while it's in early access on Steam if they wanted to. Since I bought Nevada & M-2000 on Steam after the announcement that was made on Steam, I'm stuck with it and I personally don't like being shunned away from Steam to play other games because that's where I prefer to stay exclusively.

This is actually good to hear. Now if we could just get pre-purchases on Steam....

I'd like to see what your performance is on a multiplayer server that's populated and has a lot going on AI wise.

That's not us users fault, but rather Steam and their policies with game sales fault. Been a user on Steam for years and now these days having games separated (Origin/Uplay), it's ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, I love DCS, there is nothing like it out there. If I have to, I guess I will switch over to the standalone at one point. But for the time being I enjoy my hours being accounted for and being able to use the Steam UI overlay etc.

So I'm assuming that there is no pre-order or isn't going to be on Steam? I use Steam exclusively and being that I purchased all my modules on it and the keys for Steam don't work on the standalone anymore, I guess us Steam users are kinda boned?

Things are getting exciting, people. :) Can't wait for the new video coming on the 6th.

Currently on 1.2, while say on a server with heavy AI traffic (ground and air) and with anywhere from 5-15 people on, the fps is pretty low. Under or around 40fps @1080p with 970 SLI. With mirrors on it completely halves it, lol. While Matt was playing singleplayer (I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) in the streams with not much going on AI wise, the fps looked to be great. I just hope to see very much greater performance with online being that dedicated servers as well as the EDGE upgrade.

Amazing! Can't wait to see what other two seat modules we will get in the future.
