  1. Hi Shaggy, No tricks up my sleeve I'm afraid but as Blaze says it might be quicker and it will also take a lot of the Photoshop add-on's if inserted correctly, such as the Nik efex filters etc. I think you can download a trial that lasts about 30 days. The program is on sale as far as I know until the end of September. As for the Airlife helicopter believe it or not we have been quiet-ish and not needed to call it since I asked you about it (keeping fingers crossed we dont need it soon) I'll get the shots when I can and send to you. BTW the Sabre is wonderful keep up your excellent work
  2. Shaggy, have you ever tried using Corel paint shop pro 2x ???
  3. Hope it works for you, it did for me :)
  4. You need to remove LO/ FC before doing the regedit. The current Modman V7 works perfectly now
  5. I have a copy of the trains timetable if anyone needs it
  6. Talon, Have you cleared the regedit files as well ??? Soloution After a complete uninstallation via the Add/Remove programs tab, apart from clearing the registry via 'regedit' you also need to manually delete your Ubisoft Folder from your Programs directory as well as your Modman Folder from your HDD Directory. There are leftover folders after an uninstall that explains the issue you are experiencing. To clear the registry, via the start menu, hit run and type 'regedit'. Hit OK and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE and find the Eagle Dynamics entry. Highlight and delete. Do the same for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE and the Ubisoft entry. Highlight and delete. Reboot.
  7. I agree E61 but sometimes thing's have to be addressed. As you said he is not the first one and I have no doubt he won't be the last one.
  8. [quote=john_X; have a nice life I have had and hopefully always will have a Nice Life however long it will be. No doubt along with many other people here. If your comment was not so caustic I would thank you but I am sure no doubt, other's will :D Anyone have the song from WW1 GoodByeeeeeee GoodByeeeeeeeeeeeee
  9. John X, All you ever seem to do is moan and disrespect other people's mods, try making something from scratch that need's integrating into a program already built, believe me it's not as " easy " as YOU seem to think. I come to this website to learn from other people not to complain at every mod that's listed on this site . I don't know if ED's Team is full time or not, but what I do know is they produce a wonderful game, be it FC or DCS, we all want or would like add-on's every month but as a modder ( not Aircraft for FC, see previous discussion with John x ) I know that's not feasable. I'll bet there is at least 2000+ man hours already in the basic DCS. As for your ' mod ', when and if it ever comes out then I'm sure people will play it, but be prepared for the same criticism you have given other people on this forum. One last comment: It's time now to put up or shut up, by that I mean let's see your Mod or stop complaining about everyone else. As already stated earlier in this post I come here to learn and enjoy reading other post's but when I see all your negative post's on the forum it spoils my time here. I would respectfully suggest when you have learnt a little more about the subject then you may comment. As regarding " empty promises " when is your mod coming out ???
  10. All I can do is praise the support team, VERY VERY helpful when I contacted them all things sorted within about 10 working days PS: I did find out that the person in charge was on vacation for most of those days

  12. John, I believe it's on www.Lockonfiles.com
  13. Hoping a great deal that when Tomcatz has some spare time he can do the Kuz pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  14. John, No doubt like a lot of the people within this forum over the years I have collected a mass of programs luckily some have been given by various Medical Companies and developers, while I am not proficient in all of the mentioned programs I am however VERY proficient in some. As Shaggy, Tomcatz, Tigrou and others will no doubt confirm, a lot of us use one program to do part of the work and others to get the finished article as good as it can be. When I'm doing my photo macrography I use Adobe Photoshop CS 4 suite for part of the process and Corel Paintshop X2, and other programs to get the finished effect I want or need, such as Nik Color effects, Auto Fx, etc, in fact any add-on that will help me get the effects I need. I'm sure that when you were a kid you helped your Parents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, around the house or other location doing jobs for them, you were not proficient in all the jobs but you used limted knowledge, taking a little from here and a little from there, the point I'm trying to make is we all have some knowledge and we put it together to make a complete article in whatever form. John, what peeved me off more than anything was the way you attacked everyone with your attitude, I think you wanted to " shake " them up by being so in their face, in some instances that may work but on a forum like this that is the last thing thats needed, it may work at your place of employment or within a Military enviroment but not here. Remember that 95% of the people who make the mods have families and a full time job, they do these mods in their own time and mostly at their own expense, sometimes at the expense to family harmony. By all means put forward your personal view but use your words with more respect, thats all I'm asking. @ Shaggy, I'm in my early 50's so I have some of the " older and wiser " attributes lol.
  15. Hmmm let's see, I've been working with 3D now for 10+ years in America and in Europe, that's part of the reason I moved to America, so you could say I have a little knowledge. The fact that I make 3d models for Medical computer programs ( in my spare time ) is slightly different than gaming I admit but the principals are the same in fact if anything I have to be a lot more precise ( a lot more detail ) than making a model aircraft. I use the following programs : 3ds Max, Lightwave 3D, Swift 3D, Vue, Z brush, Carrara, Massive, AutoQ3D, FaceGen, DX Studio, Hexagon, Meshlab, MakeHuman, Poser, Mudbox, Swift3D Xpress. So I suppose you could say I'm a moder :):):)
  16. QUOTE FROM TOPOL M Some notes here comparing the model with the images below: 1. The wing is not thick enough and doesn`t quite have the curve the real one has in the bottom part where it connects with the fuselage (Pic. 1). 2. Also it doesn`t quite fit with the fuselage like the smooth transition fuselage-wing the real one has (Pic.1). 3. The part of the fuselage behind the cockpit is more noticeably getting thinner at one point in the real one (Pic. 2) 4. The part where the horizontal stabilizers connect to the fuselage is much shorter in the real one (Pic. 2) 5. It looks to me like in the real one there is more distance between stabilizers and wings and that the angle between of the stabilizers rear edge and the aircraft axis is not that acute in the real one. But that might be just an optical illusion (Pic. 2). 6. Also it seems you`ve got a lot of work with gear bays, gun placement, etc. details. You said it was flawless and "in 1 week the shape will be ready" ;) I`ll be surprised if you can complete it perfectly in time but who knows. Answered by JohnX lool.but it is flawless.what did you tell yourself? that you are going to teach me a lesson? you are the man! 1)the wing is thick enough, i can asure you. its just the optical ilusion you have.if you want i can put a front view. i can tell you dont know the plane as you dont know that you showed me the j-22 B which has the curve you see.i modeled here the j-22 A. but yes, you are the man. you just ruined one of my surprises for this mod.i have modeled both versions... 2)the smooth transition is not done yet... 3)the part behind the cockpit is getting thinner at my model too. you just have an ilusion... 4)here you are right. it will be changed. 5)again you had an optical ilusion. i can put a top view if you want to see im right. 6)as for me is very easy to work in 3d and i work kinda fast, the 3d model will be ready in 1 week. the reason i said to the other 3d modellers to put some pictures with their works on the forum is because of what happened to me at no 4. i have a proportion mistake and im not afraid to recognize it.thats why i put the renders to be criticised.and im not shocked when im criticised The reason I've copied and pasted is maily the last sentence: "i have a proportion mistake and im not afraid to recognize it.thats why i put the renders to be criticised.and im not shocked when im criticised " So Mr Perfect does make mistakes .......... Quote from John X on page 11 of this posting the second thing. i bet you wont find even 1 little mistake in my 3d model. the reason i didnt release the mod until now is because i saw the real plane and i realised that my plane doesnt look like the real one.so i remodeled it. in 1 week the shape will be ready Let the evidence speak for it's self
  17. Hmmm Old Crow I think the Blue corner will win this time lol.
  18. Ok I must be blind, I have the AWACS version but not the airliners where are they please???? PS: Using CAW version if that makes any difference
  19. Good idea for the skin slots Aero, if it's possible it would be an amazing add-on
  20. QUACK QUACK QUACK Now let me go and get my 12 gauge and shoot the duck who can't or won't be civil in posts. As I said before civility or manners cost nothing
  21. Instead of shouting off a rude mouth why not show some of YOUR screen shots????. Being as your model is so perfect I'm sure a little preview is in order, and will teach us all how perfect (NOT) your supposed model is. Just done a search for the iar-93/soko j-22 orao,on this website and it comes up with nothing........... also known as HOT AIR
  22. Have you ever noticed the people doing the complaining about Mods are the people NOT making mods ?....... Until we actually get to SEE some of John X mosds then all I see are hollow promises. And as for " EF 2000 has a wrong modelled nose and i told him a while ago to correct it and i didnt see any changes ". Maybe asking instead of being " told " may work better ........politeness costs nothing. QUOTE FROM JOHN X 4) why dont you show us what can you do in lomac development? cause all i see you can do is talking shit... Hmmmmmm look in the mirror John X
  23. Excellent Video, please please make it available for download, I'm sure a lot of people will want to download and keep it Great Job WELL DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!
