Great mod and hopefully developed further. On my install it appears the rudder pedal animation is reversed and the wheel brakes don't seem to respond to the assigned axis. Thanks for a working Typhoon.

Hi First foray into VR and slightly stumped. I have installed the Reverb G2 and it works. Mixed reality portal slightly confusing but not really bothered about that. I have enable VR in the right hand DCS settings tab but when I launch DCS it stays on the desktop ? Should it automatically go to the headset or do I have to do something. I have the downloaded beta version and nothing related to steam installed. Am I right in supposing DCs should drive the headset directly ? Thanks for any help given. Barrie

Have a look at Tobii Eye / Head tracker. Quite expensive. I have just purchased V5 and it works great. I would not go back to the hat / headphone variants as I have had both. DCS supports the device natively. It can also work in FS2020 with headtracking only, using Facetrack NoIR with a couple of plugins from their website. Works very well and nice to fly without a hat. V4C works as well and those can be bought of ebay for reasonable sums.

Should I need to press to Cycle the After burner Detent Switch to get into reheat ? I kept hitting the stop and when I saw a video of the throttle rocking up I checked the manual and found no info on it. Building my own USB ICP. Does anyone know wher to buy the 4 way rocker switch. Thanks for any help.

Resolved issue by using regedit and deleting keys. Installed modules and reactivated ok.

Hi Tried repair. I am unable to deactivate due to significant hardware changes although when I tried to reinstall the module it says activation is successful but the sim reports an error as soon as I try to select a flight. Would deleting the lot and starting again help or is there some key file hidden. Thanks Druid.

Hi I upgraded my motherboard/processor and retained existing SSD, RAM and graphic card. I did not deactivate DCS. When the renewed machine booted it went into windows without problem. I was expecting to reinstall the operating system and DCS later. DCS reports Activation Key is Not valid etc. I tried reactivating option and it appears to work. ie reactivation number drops. However cockpits are frozen. Repeated this 3 times so far and I cannot fly. How do I solve this ? ? Thanks Druid

Downloaded V1.22.7286 installers for A10, P51 and FC. FC installed fine. A10 and P51 reported corrupt files. Tried several times with same result.

When wil the installers be updated to 1.22.7286 I re installed DCS today and it updated before I was able to install add on's. It says I need a later installer.

Using Cougar on the DCS A10C, but unable to assign the HOTAS Slew Horizontal and Vertical to mouse X and Mouse Y. This is used in my foxy profile on FC2 without a problem to control the TDC. I want to use the microstick as mouse. Assigning the microstick to create the ; , . : keys causes me no end of problems as the stick generally produces a constant stream of keystokes.

hi sorry for delay, i use the on board sound with an asus p5n32 sli motherboard. it has the little riser card and using the standard vista 32 bit op system. certainly not a creative sound card. barrie

Could some one tell me how to adjust/modify the F15 cockpit sound. When I am in the cockpit there is a constant roaring sound. Occasionally it dissapears. If I load any other aircraft ie A10 the cockpit is virtually silent. Once I go ack to the F15 the roaring starts immediately. Tried a sound pack today. Different sounds but the F15 still has the constant roaring. Vista. Flamming Cliffs Thanks for any help. Roll on the F16 DCS

hi I have a problem where when I start the multiplayer mission I enter the cockpit and the engines are stopped. The throttle moves but the side stick has no effect on the controls. The F keys work and so do most of the others as far as I can tell. Is there some way to start the engines ? I have the same problem on the client machine. I can see the other players so the multiplayer mission / set up works but I cannot get the aircraft going. Training, single player, missions, campaigns etc all work well with my cougar freetrack set up. It just this multiplayer problem.

I have the latest forceware driver for my Nvidia 8800 GTS card. Makes no difference. I have tried all sorts in the graphic options but nothing seems to help. I have also noticed the change of resolutions seems to make no difference which I find very odd. I have installed flamming cliffs 3 times no with the same result. Lock on worked fine. System Asus p5N32 e SLI ,Vista 32 bit, EVGA 8800 GTS 640 MB ACS Edition.

Hi Tried as suggested but the result is the same. I down loaded fresh flamming cliffs 1.1 and the patch 1.12b As before the graphics is fine with Lock on V1.0. As soon as I install flaming cliffs V1.1b the problem appears. I cannot seem to get a screen image or frame rate using suggested keys ? All other keyboard commands seem ok. All help in resolving this problem greatly appreciated. Barrie

Help Please I have posted before re graphics problem ie Cockpit detail missing , I can see the hud image ,mirrors ,reflections, throttle levers and hands for the instruments but no panel, its transparent ? The sky, clouds, ground detail is fine. External shots all aircraft white with no skin detail. The main menu has the clock hands offset to the right and the legends for the aircraft selections are misplaced. I cannot seem to take a print screen either. If some one could tell me how I will post a picture of the problem. With lock on installed clean from disk - all ok Lock on with patch 1.02 - all ok Flaming cliffs 1.1 - problem appeared Patch 1.1b - No difference Previous replies suggested my radeon card was dated and the probable cause. Just installed EVGA 8800GTS with 640 MB memory and latest drivers. The problem is the same. Hopefully some one knows the answer / fix. Barrie

I have Installed V1 from disk - Graphics fine Upgraded to V1.02 from downloaded file. - Graphics fine Upgraded to flaming cliffs 1.1b via download - graphics screwed up. Chost cockpits / White aeroplanes / Offset clock and legends in the main screen. Installed this lot twice with the same result. Now down to 3 activations with star force ? I have a Nvidia card on order so the last message may be the cure.ie ATI x600 radeon the culprit. All other sims ie FSX / Falcon 4 all work fine. Also How do you get a screen shot ? ? I will then post the problem.

Hi Just downloaded Flaming cliffs and now almost working. When the main menu starts the clock hands are offset to the right ? I can live with that. However when I start any aircraft the cockpits are transparent. I can see the hud, radar, mirrors and soom blocky cockpit outline details. Externally all the aircraft are mostly white with some black parts. The scenery is fine and so is the sound. Controls all work but the graphics need serious help Never had this problem with Lock On V1.02 Currently Vista 32 bit ATI Radeon X600 - with latest vista driver Flaming cliffs v1.12b All help greatly appreciated as I am keen to fly the Eagle ! Hi Tried the patch 1.12b but no change. I cannot launch the starforce installation. It says I must have admin priviledges. It then returns to the desktop. I am able to produce a large error report which means little to me. I hope flamming Cliffs is worth it as I had no problem with Lock On 1.02 Barrie

Hi I have downloaded flamming cliffs v1.1 The installed appeared to work ok. When i try to launch the game the starforce activation trys to install. I get an error message. To install the app you must have admin privileges and then crashes back to desk top. I am the only user ( administrator ) on this vista 32 bit system and I have not had this problem with any other software. How do I get star force installed or by passed ? No very impressed. barriedrew
