Hi, did you get a chance to look at the mission Chop-u ? If you are too busy I will just keep trying to find anyone who knows more about the dsc.log and the ~mis____.lua files.

  Hi Lineaxe. No I don't, sorry. I learnt all I know about dcs.log by myself.
  
  What is your goal? If you want to automatically generate missions, you should take a look at some open source mods which already do such a thing (Briefing Room, for instance: https://akaagar.itch.io/briefing-room-for-dcs).
