what im wondering is why i never once have had an aim120 track chaff

*grabs popcorn* this is getting entertaining xD also id love to know why chaff never works against 120's for me

The F/A-18 would more tie in as an adversary to the SU-33 and the F-16 deserves some love too xD

didnt expect to come back to this xD seriously ED could just add the SU27SK with its R77s and possibly R27EP's to level the field, they should at least considering the eurofighter coming up, cause its going to be a tad ridiculous if it shows up and all we have is MIG29A and S, SU27S, MIG21 Bis while the SU35BM or an SU37 or such would be epic, i doubt they can get data on either, maybe the original SU35 however could be an option, but the SU27SK would be best for the game IMHO and maybe add china with a J-11 cause well, itd be cool if we could get a J-11 and an F-15J, and maybe an F-2A and F-16C(im all for the F-16C cause it will give the Mig29S a fair opponent)

manually, and that seems a bit complicated >.> and sometimes i install a skin and it works then breaks yellow 13 but when i remove it yellow 13 works again, but all my 15 jasdf skins work

i agree they need to add the SU-27SK or something newer (SU35S maybe or SU37 or the regular SU35) can somebody give me an explanation on how to adjust the prf?

idk about anyone here, but disabling the AOA limiter helps if you dont pull too far back and keep between 220-440 AOA limiter off is love AOA limiter off is life PS:dont fire the 30mm too long around 220 with AOA off Departure is not love or life

this has been around since lomac and fc2, would you rather they fall into or below the ground? not to be a jerk but there are more important issues than this since %90 of the time you wont see these from anywhere but ground level

basically to dodge an aim120while keeping radar lock on the 15, im unsure how well it works in dcs cause im having issues with my bvr however i do at least know this will dodge the 120 first you need to understand how the enemy sees and targets you and how the 120 tracks you. if you go full burner head on at him and he fires a missle at you, your goal should be to A. increase the time till closer as drastically as you can so the missle no longer has the predicted rate of closure, and B. to drag it around the sky because after so long its engine burns out so it cannot regain airspeed lost. as for how to accomplish A and B while keeping the eagle 60 degrees or less, its simple, perform a very wide large slow barrel roll then as it closes it should just pass under you harmlessly(it takes practice though so dont quit). if you are fired on in short to mid range FORGET TRYING TO LOCK HIM UP!!! get the missle off the right or left wing at 90 degrees and then when it closes to about 1nm pull hard up and spam chaff or invert and pull hard down, it doesn't always work but its your best bet as ive seen sofar. at this point attempt to target him in hms mode and fire an archer(r-73) at him

im no stranger to ED games ive played fc1 and 2 i just got the SU27 and F15 and now when i slew the td over a target i can spam enter and nothing happens, it will occasionally dissappear and re-appear. this is when the target is either flying head on at me or somehow unaware of my presence?(ive yet to actually have a target A. evade or B get bvr lock on me?) also when i get a lock using vert scan/boresight/hms and try using the 27 er or et it just tracks a second then goes off on a magical trip to alaska or searching for jimmy hoffas grave, something of that nature and flys off to the side and goes straight(havent had the 120s do that at least) so im wondering whats going on :crash:
