  1. Great to hear about the F-15 AFM and Ka-50 campaign. Will there be interactive tutorials to follow for the F-15? Also will the existing Su-27 tutorials be moved to the training section (where I would have found them much sooner)? Same for the Ka-50, will BigfootMSR's tutorials or new ones be available by default in the training menu? As someone learning DCS, these interactive tutorials are awesome and would hate for new users to not have or find them.
  2. Great Yurgon, glad you found the problem! I hope that the those training files can be "fixed" for any new players. They were great for someone like me learning the KA-50.
  3. I just had the same problem with the "Datalink and Wingmen" tutorial and mentioned my solution in this thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2449284 The solution for me was to disable the "easy communication" from the options->gameplay menu and to use RAlt+\. However, none if this will work unless you also play the mission from the mission menu not the training menu. So you also have to copy this training mission into your /username/Saved Games/DCS/Missions and then open it via the mission menu not the training menu.
  4. Details... I am using DCS version 1.2.16.39472 on Windows 7 and playing the KA-50 training mission "Datalink and Wingmen" from BigfootMSR. Disabling "EASY COMMUNICATION" and using RAlt+\ only works if you also copy the training mission from the KA-50 training folder and put it in your /username/Saved Games/DCS/Missions folder and open it from the mission menu. I also noticed that even though I have labels turned off, they still appear when I play from the training section. However, when I play from the mission section the labels are off. It appears that when playing from the training folder there are some gameplay settings that get turned on. Dare I speculate... It looks like the real issue is that easy communication does not work correctly. But, the problem is compounded because even if you turn off easy communication it seems to still be on when playing from the training menu.
  5. Oh, and I just tried to enable "EASY COMMUNICATION" in the Options menu and that broke it also, so: 3. Disable "EASY COMMUNICATION" in the Options -> Gameplay menu
  6. I had just had the some problem and the two solutions buried in these threads that worked for me were to: 1. Copy/Move the training mission files (.miz and .lua) to /username/Saved Games/DCS/Missions 2. Use RAlt+\ Hope that solves your Comm problem.
