  1. Thanks a lot, seems to do the trick  P-51D has it's own setting in there and it was set at 120. Like it much better at 150. The single 1080p monitor still gives just a little bit more vertical FOV, but if I go anything past this the wings start to look really crazy. Thanks, appriciated!
  2. once you take manual control over the radiator flaps, is there a way to get back to automatic mode? i.e. a automatic mode switch somewhere, which could be mapped to a key/button?
  3. Hi, first of all, I'm new to DCS and to this forum, so mods please move this topic to the right subforum if I'm completely wrong here. The issue I'm having is generic, but for me it seems to be much worse in P-51 than in e.g. FW 190 D-9 or in some of the jets I've tried out of the FC3. I have 3 monitor setup. nVidia surround view 5880 x 1080 (bezel corrected) and the vertical field of view is very small in this setup. If I play only with a single monitor, I can see much more of the surrounding sky. Below are 3 images. -my 5880 x 1080 view. This is fully zoomed out, head/camera position as back in the cockpit as possible. Even with TrackIr I'm having real trouble maintaining situational awarness through this letterbox view. Pretty much impossible to dog fight. - 1920 x1080 normal view zoomed out. - 1920 x1080 head as back as possible in the cockpit view zoomed out. These views make it much easier to spot and track targets and maintain situational awarness. Now, are there any settings that can affect this? Is there any way for me to change the camera FOV? I would ofcourse very much prefer to use my 3 monitor surround view, but no way I'm taking the P-51 to the hostile skyes if I have to steer it through this letterbox view. Funny enough, the FW 190 D-9 still has the issue, but not quite as bad as in the P-51. Cheers, Red
  4. Thanks guys, I get the idea. So far I have managed to avoid STT, but I guess now I get to play arround with it ;-)
  5. thanks for the reply and sorry, that just went beyond my understanding. How do you set the mouse stick as bands and bind the extremes to the keys? Somewhere in DCS control settings or some other SW like saitek drivers? anyway, did bind the zoom to the little hat switch on the throttle. Thisway also butter smooth, just have to get used to the hat instead of the slider.
  6. Hi, I'm new to DCS and having all kinds of little setup trouble. One is the View Zoom. I have it setup on as Axis on the little thumb slider on X52 pro throttle. I'm used to it from other games, but here it is very 'jumpy' i.e. when I zoom in, the zoom level is does not stay stable, but jumps arround a bit. Makes zoomed in tracking of the target almoust impossible and drives me crazy. Is there any way to smoothen that out? Tried to play arround with axis curve, but no help. How do you guys recommend to bind to zoom? I have track-ir for looking arround. cheers, Red
