Here are some basic renders of my work today,i am making 2 cockpits one for the model and the other for human use,not sure if thats the best way to do this.

Hud Frame WIP, also i am having a bit of trouble getting the right material for the HUD itself,what type of glass material works best with HUD type graphics? it does look like glass but at the moment its not in the right opacity level i would say.

ok i tried out the Smooth option in 3dx max,here is the front and back boards of the cockpit frame.

There's the function "smooth" in the rider where you have all the stuff like tesselate/edit poly etc

Cockpit backboard WIP.
BackBoard WIP tuning out to be a pain ,how can i smooth things out even more? any tips would be Appreciated.

maybe splines or rectangles and then extrude them...
That's how i model my stuff...
i will look into that,this is my first ever made 3d pit,this is going to be an amazing learning experience.

After many days of searching for the pak fa cockpit blue prints I have decided to draw it my self,I will use many close up pics that I have to draw the frame and then add that to 3dx max plane to use as reference to work,I'll start on the blue print today and modeling the cockpit on Monday,also what do you guys recommend would be the best way to model a cockpit ? By using cilinder,box,plane? I thinking about using box and starting out as a tub for frame and go from there,tub as in the sides and bottom of the cockpit modeling.

Okay may be a little complicated and under normal flight conditions it doesn't happen so much only when pushed

Hi Cubanace,
been studying your recent videos, looking very good I must say, flight dynamics very realistic. During the T-50 displays I have seen there is always a large amount of vapour produced from the upper surfaces of the wing. Are you able to build this feature into your model ??
still to early to tell, i would have to code a way for the condensation to go active depending on temperature and the weather in dcs to make it realistic.

Frames should be -100 to 100 at 100FPS
you talking about animation frames in 3dx max correct skatezilla? if so then i will change it to 100, i had it at 30.

Got to like a guy working on such a complex thing as a Flight model on his own. Figuring things out, and learning new skills in the process. Hats off to your hard work and dedication on this project you have taken on. Nice to see all the updates of your work. I look forward to seeing you complete your project. Good luck.

Canopy Animation WIP
Some early work at the PAk Fa Canopy animation, i will start working on the cockpit frame and model on monday.

made a trashold (limitation)for the TVC Sistem ,b4 at 20 Degrees she would loose control and lock up now at 15 degrees it can be controlled at low speeds and near stall speeds,still working on the flight envelope as i find more data on its engine limitations.

Having fun while coding thrust vectoring limitations,keeping it at 15 Degrees.

Nothing wrong with Constructive Criticism however you took it entirely the wrong way. Don't point somebody out on something if you are not willing to explain the mistakes they made, especially if you want to sound like a genius in the subject of matter.
That being said, this project is coming along, keep it up.
