I'd like to say that I'm an idiot, because I updated my Nvidia drivers today, and after restarting it seems to work. Loaded like 10 missions/trainings in a row without issues. Nvidia installer didn't tell me to reboot, and I've been mentally exhausted from today, so I thought I did actually restart. TL;DR Updating to the latest Nvidia drivers solved my issue.

Hey guys! I decided to give 2.7 open beta a try, but I'm currently able to load one mission before the next one decides to crash. I'll attach my crash log here, but I always get roughly the same error, which looks like: 2021-05-05 21:32:20.814 ERROR EDCORE: Can't open file 'bazar/shaders/enlight/cloudssampling.hlsl.' from fs 2021-05-05 21:32:20.814 WARNING DX11BACKEND: Shader enlight/clouds.fx:DIRECTX11=true;RAYMARCH_BY_DOWNSAMPLED_NEARFAR_1_4;USE_DCS_DEFERRED=1; is outdated as file bazar/shaders/enlight/cloudssampling.hlsl is modified. I'm using a fresh Windows 10 install with the latest update (20H2) and Nvidia drivers 466.27 (Release date: 29/04/2021) I already tried removing the folder in the Saved Games directory, but no luck so far. Really hope this gets fixed soon of course because these clouds are just stunning. PC details: Ryzen 3900X GTX 1080ti 16GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz dcs.log

I'm asking this question because I had a few occasions where I could not hover in the AV-8B after flying a little mission. For example, I was practicing dogfighting with a friend, after 20 minutes or so, my fuel tank was almost empty, I had no other stores, so I wanted to try and land on a building. I had my water injection set to landing, all settings were correct, but my plane could just not hover, it was exceeding the exhaust temperature constantly, and water injection was not turning on. I had this 2 or 3 times that day, but during some other flights I had no issues with VTOL. My only theory is, is that I damaged my engines during a few minutes of high throttle (because of the dogfighting) and this might be why I was getting such high engine temperatures. Can anyone perhaps enlighten me on this? Do you have similar experiences?

That's odd, I never had this problem with the old DCS. Or maybe its more pronounced now? Either way, I hope it can get fixed.

I was doing some low flying with a friend on the black sea map, and when we were flying over a river, you could clearly see the water being on a lower level than the land next to the river. It causes a parallax effect, where the land next to the river moved faster than the river itself! We did manage to crash without touching the water, as soon as you go below sea level. (but not touching the water yet) Seems like a fairly simply fix, by just moving the water level up about 10 meters, but I don't know the exact height. When looking at an engine exhaust, for instance while taxi'ing, the heat will distort the area around the plane, but also your HUD. Would be nice to get it fixed! You guys are doing an amazing job, keep it up!
