I also have extremely low unplayable FPS in the Chinook, in the cockpit its about 10-20 fps where for example in the Apache its over 100 fps. Switching between F1 and F2 views also causes the game to hang for about 20 sec. I have found NOT running the MultiThreaded application just the regular I get much better FPS/performance in the cockpit. Does anyone else experience this?

So i currently run the game at 1440p on a 27" and have always struggled with distant contacts and even close ones, losing them in the background clutter/cockpit glare. I recently ran the game in 1080p on my 27" and the results were easier for me to spot at distance and able to maintain eye contact with an aircraft in a dogfight <5nm as the aircraft tended to stand out from the background more.

I think OP is talking about the HUD as that what this thread is called. I personally don't mind the reflections from instrument lights on the canopy as it adds to my immersion.

I know it can be annoying but its just replicating the light emitting from the HUD projector as seen here. Maybe it just needs to be tuned down a bit.

Me too, also appearing on Nevada. Sometimes disappear if you are at a certain height or facing a certain direction.

Lived near RAF Cottesmore so got to be the GR7/9.
