How can you suggest that a rocket (or anything for that matter) can travel at ANY Mach number in space? Since Mach is the measurement used for an objects velocity in ratio to the speed of Sound and sound can only travel through a medium such as air, water etc. Can you tell me how sound can travel through a vacuum? Quick Answer - it can't. Speed can be measured in space (usually Km/h), acceleration (in G's) can be measured, but not Mach number. oops, beaten to it. :megalol:

Sort of. ;) When installing Flaming Cliffs over Lock-on, the 1.02 patch is not needed (in fact not recommended). Also the 1.12a patch & the 1.12b patch are one in the same except that 1.12b has vista support. 1, Lock-On (MAC or ACS)(1.0) 2, Lock-On Flaming Cliffs (1.1) 3, Flaming Cliffs patch (1.12a/b)

Advice to Yeniceri from Mr Cholmondley-Warner would be to.... do exactly whatever you want. Be that releasing the exceptional A-10 model with or without damage model, and if needs be to then follow up with numerous fixes (just as Walmis did with the F-15). I am also modeling an aircraft for Lock-on ;) and know the hard work and dedication it takes to first of all, model a satisfactory product, set animation arguments, Unwrap the blighter, not to mention creation of skin templates then creation of said skins. I wonder, do those calling for a full product on release actually know the man-hours involved in such a project.

I would bet 10 shillings that your X52 is to blame for your continued activation problem. Have one of those blighters myself, when I start-up Lockon with the slider on full (Right) then the activation screen comes up. First hint is to calm down, Lock-on itself is not to blame. Second hint, stop reactivating Lock-on when this happens and investigate what exactly is wrong. If you haven't done anything drastic to your machine (like changed CPU + RAM etc) then the is something simple messing about with your system config like sliders etc. In fact I was able to change graphics card without getting asked for a reactivation. Unfortunately, I wouldn't hold my breath for help on models here. Troff offered numerous models for lock-on that just needed Unwrapped etc and no-one took it up. In actual fact he was flamed. Disgusted and neglected, he left the forum.

May one use ones first post within this fine establishment, where I have lurked for many a dark night, to congratulate the fine team whose diligent work created such a masterpiece such as this. Hip hip... hurrah. Ones only question would be - Does this mean that the fine men of the Royal Air Force have now received the F.3 interceptor variant to defend the Lock-on skies? One could not see one in the screen shot of the Royal Air Force GR.4 variant.
