Supmua, do you fly with Dynamic Weather ?? LE : I forgot to mention something. About 7-8 months ago, I purchased the AMD Radeon VII but I sent it back because of the poor performance. I did some testing, but mostly on X-Plane 11 and the banding was almost gone. Same with DCS World That's why I said before, a lot of people blame nVidia ( software ) and some of them say, Windows 10 updates, starting last year May - June, added some banding as well

I tried to calibrate with the TV settings, but it's very hard, because one setting breaks the previous one I use the TV 100 % for PC monitor

Would a calibrator help, for a TV as PC monitor ? Something like this

Did another test, this time with ReShade - Debanding The issue is 60 - 70 % gone but with the loss of quality - clouds I'm not sure if my ReShade - Debanding setting are ok, I attached a printscreen If anyone has more experience with ReShade - Debanding, please give me some advices. So, that's a software issue, 100 % No TV hardware I'll keep testing Thank you

I did try the color banding test, I'm not sure but for me it looks okay. Should I try to make a photo, with my mobile phone ? streakeagle, did you see the video ( and printscreen ) I attached on this thread ? Can you see this banding ? I'm not even sure if it's color banding or posterisation or even from the game itself. But when I fly very close to the clouds, they look weird. I will upload here, another short video Please make sure you watch it on some large display, and tell me if you see this, on the right side, near the cockpit. After I've read tons of stuff about this, I came to the conclusion, nVidia software is the culprit. No dithering, compared to AMD drivers Right now I have at home 4 different Tv's, 3 Samsung, different models, and 1 Panasonic. All 4K I can't believe that all 4 TV's suffer from the same issue. I tried a lot of nVidia CP settings, TV settings, the issue is still present Maybe the DCS engine is old, I don't know. I'm running Windows 10 x64, latest version, but I tried with some older versions as well I also tried with more than 10 different nVidia drivers When I watch the same video, on my TV, from the USB stick, right on the TV , with Windows turned off, it looks a bit better. Right now I have an Samsung Q90R - 55 inches as PC monitor, everything else looks amazing. Even DCS World. But not near the clouds :) Only through the clouds, very very close to them I can't see some color banding when I watch the sky, or at night, the Moon, etc " Limitations of the color palette being used cause that type of banding " Where is the limitations coming from ? I have a question about the Siria map : is it entirely with sand, rock, like the Persian Gulf map ? With Google Earth, I tried to have a better idea. On the North West of Siria, somewhere between Lataka-Homs-Al Qusayr -Tartus-Hamah, there are some hills, green fields, etc Could anyone with more experience, give some details, please ?
