  1. Anyone want to practice F-15c dog fights in FC3? I live in Kansas City, Missiouri, USA so I would be nice if we could fly in my time zone. I am looking for someone that can fly the weekday evenings. Thanks! scarecrow
  2. What? How do we do this?
  3. If you can afford losing three hundred bucks then by the cheaper one, if not, spend the extra hundred and get a new one. Either way you will never look back, it is awesome.
  4. I would like a Su-25T list, how did you copy it?
  5. I would buy a fully clickable F-4 in a heart beat.
  6. When you what to assign a task to a button it will tell you the number of the button when you push it.
  7. No, you just launch DCS World and both aircraft are there.
  8. I set the trim after I clean up the SU-25T, no flaps, wheels up, NO air brake, and it is pretty squirrely at times. You can't over fly the aircraft, it will rip the wings off or lose all lift. It is hard to fly in a steep dive. Maybe it because I have never looked to see what the curvature settings in Axis Tune are. I need to check into that.
  9. That's how I have started and it has worked out great. You can learn all the stuff you need to know and not spend a dime.
  10. DCS also benefits from one of, if not the, friendliest communities in on-line gaming. A few weeks ago I found DCS and started reading about it. Then I searched around trying to figure this whole thing out. I found this board and started reading, then I posted this thread. Well, tonight I flew around with some guys on line and have been blown away. This is so cool. Yeah, the posters around here are top notch, bonafide good guys. Thanks for all the info guys. Thanks HOME FRIES.
  11. You guys are the best.
  12. I put in some seat time in tonight and feel much better about this bird. This flight sim stuff is pretty cool. And yeah ... I am 60 yrs old ... get over it. Haha.
  13. I have flown the BMS Viper several times, mostly doing Thunder Bird/ Blue Angles stuff over the runway. I am miles away from using all the radar and weapons. I do like the fun of clicking the cockpit switches more than the key board. I should buy new hardware. I am thinking of getting a iTrack5 and the Saiteck 52 or 55. What do you guys think?
  14. I was thinking about the A-10. I like the idea of being close to the ground and using that cannon. I see that the Flaming Cliffs3 has an A-10 among other birds to fly. Do you think I should buy it or just the A-10? Also I am pretty sure the reason the Su-25 is sluggish is a combination of not knowing what I am doing right now and the setting up of my old Saitek X-45. I have no problem with flying within the limits of the 25, it's kind of a challenge.
  15. I have to be honest here, flying the Su-25 is like driving a bus with flat tires in the mud.
  16. Thanks for all the help guys. I have been trimming out the Su-25 to fly it I just didn't think it was something that had to be done all the time I was in the air. I guess older aircraft are just like that.
  17. Oh yeah, the links you posted helped a lot. Now I got to start reading ...
  18. How do I set up my HOTAS? I have a Saitek x-45 right now, but I can buy something new if needed, but I can't get it to work correctly. The su25t is always flying nose up and that gets old after a while. I have flown falcon bsm and it's a level and straight path. What am I doing wrong? Is there a place to set up the calibration for the joy stick that I am missing?
  19. Thank you sir. Let me ask some basic stuff. I have down loaded DCS World and have flown the Su-25T. I don't understand how this works so help me with this. I can now buy different aircraft and use them in the DCS World, right?
  20. win 10, 64 bit i7-6700 16 gb DDR4 GeForce GTX 960.
  21. Have I posted this in the wrong place?
  22. Hi, I am a 60 year old guy that wants to learn how to fly sim jets. I am not sure where I should post this so I posted it here. I just downloaded DCS world and have flown the SU-25T and have a lot of questions about DCS and don't know where to ask questions. Can you help a noob out? Thanks.
