Vex: Unfortunately this revelations are false cause look at picture below: It shows mentioned by You AirComet flight and AF447 positions. At FL350 You've got horizon about 160nm so AirComet pilot was able to see another plane ~300nm. On the picture it shows about 1250nm. So it isn't true... Hell knows what pilot saw (I hear theory bout meteors but... eeh). BTW. First pieces of plane was bring 'above water' by helicopters and first bodies too... :noexpression:

This is what I tried to say earlier... And other side is the discussion heads in wrong direction. Now we should wait looong time to bring some new evidence or FDR,CVR (if they can cause it wouldn't be easy :noexpression:)

I understand it very well but my point is that isn't 100% protection... and it's easier to me believe in thunderstrike causing a lot of malfunctions than bomb on the board (we'll see cause 30 min. ago they talked about not excluding terrorist attack). Please, don't treat it like trying to argue cause I've got enough guys screaming about what board number plane got or if it was bermuda triangle (read such things on my country aviation forums :doh:). Sure is that a lot of people have big tragedy now and a lot of people had gone...

Unfortunately even if using *.bat file with change.com Your every enter to Options ends with changins to 1.333. Solution is simple but not exactly wanted: 1. Start LockOn (any way) 2. Change Options 3. Exit game 4. Start LockOn (with *.bat file) More changes with settings = more such gamestarts No changing settings = smooth starting game ;-)

Oh - so I see that a lot of people had similar problem. My problem is when I hit a lot of CTRL+M (often mixed with ALT+M) then I've got... I don't know exactly but my view is locked like some snapview or something (eg. I can't move my head). Long time I hadn't solution but now I've got :) Simply I need to repeat this strange combo by rapidly pressing CTRL+ALT+M+N (some of these keys match combo). In 99% works for me. Maybe somebody know about which combo I wrote so I woluld be able to turn off this...

Kuky found a great solution to this problem. Check this post. And TekaTeka is right. Your every enter to the options screen and pressing OK (applying changes - even if not made) reset to 'supported screens' which are wrong for widescreens. You can also use LOCfg tool where You can all options 'click' instead of editing file (You can choose better option to You ;-))

Yea... Frostie is rigth. You shouldn't assign Your stick buttons in game but You need to assign Your keyboard keys in stick profiler. Everybody (I think so) can tell You that this is the right way in programming joystick. I recommend You Konkussion Flight Hardware Setup Page as tutorial to programming keys in Saitek hardware. It's quite old but idea is correct ;-) Good luck...

Exactly! A version... And that's what I wanted to point - some difference in MiG & Sukhoi optical systems... Second thing is I'm sure that later versions is much more upgraded but don't know their data. Data provided by me was from 9.12 manual and such data are always different (more accurate) from any 'press publications' (which I call always as 'rounded data'). Eg. Y.Gordon in his publication about Su-27 wrote that OŁS-27 laser rangefinder can calculate range in 300 m - 3 km (hard to believe that KOŁS-29 can calculate to maximum 6,5 km). One thing is sure: always will be some differences in such data... but better this that 'no data' :smilewink: As curiosity - direct from Wiki about Su-30MKK (Chineese version): OEPS-30 optronic (electro-optical) detection system: Chinese call this system optronic radar system, and it is consisted of two major components: - OLS-30 (52Sh) optronic system weighing 200 kg includes laser and IR sensors. In comparison to its predecessor OLS-27 (Izdeliye 36Sh) on Su-27, the IR detection range nearly doubled to > 90 km from the original 50 km. The range of laser range finder is increased to > 10 km from the original 6 km. - Sura-K helmet mounted system (HMS): The field of view (FoV) is greatly increased to +/- 60 degrees in comparison to the +/- 8 degrees of the ASP-PVD-21 HMS originally used on Su-27. As You can see, progress is very impressive...

Everything is correct but there is one important difference between Sukhoi EOS and MiG EOS... Suhkoi system OEPS-27 (EOS) had Geofizyka OŁS-27 optical locator which can detect targets from head-on and from behind as all of You mentioned. This optical system is much more effective then MiG EOS. In MiG's optical locator is Geofizyka KOŁS-29 which can only detect from rear hemisphere. Some KOŁS-29 detection ranges: - normal condictions (e.g. clear skies): 12-18 km - ground in background: 6-10 km - clouds in background: 4-8 km Laser rangefinder is working from 200 m to 3-6,5 km Everything what I wrote is about early MiG-29A so just don't scream that S or SMT or whatever had newer, better version etc. ;-)
