OB 1.2.7: same here. the only plane I can see smoke coming out of the engines is the mig 29. all others dont. What I find weird is, that I see the vapor on my wingtips while taxiing the Su-33 LOL Cheers Demon

Hehe well guys, I guess you all took my statement too serious. My wife is very tolerant and she preferes me beeing working on my pit instead of going to the Pubs. So all is good here. Ok guys, here comes the last and final update. I finished my work and I am pretty satisfied about it. I learned a lot and I would do things better in my next project. but here some lil pics of how it looks like now: Cabeling: I prefered a flatbandcabel like this. so you dont have tonns of single cable hanging around. Than stripping the ends away: connect all the wires with the USB Card Box: Next step was to drill the wholes in the plexiglass and connect the switches: and than I printed the decals with my laser printer and put it behind the plexiglas. Fixed the switches and voila: Thanks for all who helped realizing this lil console :) cheers, Demon

Next step. finally all the cables arrived and I can proceed with the switches. Got the plexy glass and the driller. I ll update it with pics later this afternoon. Hopefully I can use it soon :) Cheers Demon

hmm, not sure if I understand your question now :smilewink: I wanted to emulate the middle console of the Huey. But during construction, I joined a squadron where I mainly fly the A-10C. So now I have that thing done and want to use it. It was already a hazzle to build it as I am no craftsman at all. So for now I am pretty happy with the result. I just wanted a tiny bit more immersion to DCS and with that switchpanel I get a lil closer to it :) Cheers, Demon

ok. Always have in mind, that you first plan the layout of the panels and then drill the wholes. Stupid me did it the wrong way. I just drilled the wholes as I thought it might fit here and there. Now I did the decal stencil and had to discover, that I drilled the wholes to close to each other. But see for your self: cheers, Demon

But during work I thought it might be a good thing to also make it available to other airplanes as well. 2nd Part Dear all, today I have gotten all the utilities for my cockpit console. This pic shows all relevant parts I needed. But before I ordered all the switches, I made a list with what I want to implement, so I knew what to order: Next drive was to tools and wire market as I had forgotten to order them together with the switches. Unfortunately, I couldnt find the needed wires. So I have to wait until Monday, to get them. Ok, the layout stays. Now lets drill the wholes... then I fixed the switches...one by one... after each switch I fixed, it started looking better and better...I will paint the brown wooden colored box black. I just wanted to plug the switches first to see, how it comes out. So far so good. Now I just need to connect them to the USBboard and see if it works the way I want it... To be continued...
