No, 35 mils = radar boresight. In a2a mode it’s irrelevant, but if you are in a2g or manual mode and you don’t have time to switch it’s useful to set it there.

OK, I asked Heatblur and it's actually a feature:
When you disconnect, the system will close (I don't mean the door) and won't let any more fuel flow even if you reconnect. Then the tanker will misinterpret it as if the tanks were full. What you need to do is to reset the refueling system every time you disconnect by closing and reopening the AR door.

I just tested in the internal version, it all works. INS, radios, everything will be fixed in the next update.

I have a hunch: did you hear the line "Flaps up"? Some people have it assigned to a HOTAS switch, and they don't raise it fully. The actual switch in the cockpit has 3 positions: down, slats and up. You need it to be in the "up" position. Verify in game if you don't hear the line.

This is actually a mission bug, I'm gonna fix it ASAP. Well, it wasn't an issue but ED probably changed the static vicinity/placement and now it ends up up there. I'll have to move it a bit. LEt me know if you find more of these.

I tested and works fine for me. There should be soldiers in front on 1 and 2 blocking them. If they're not there, or they run away at mission start for you it's because your install is somehow corrupted. Probably due to unofficial mods.
1) uninstall all unofficial mods. Delete them. (let me know which ones you had)
2) delete the contents of your metashaders and fxo folders
3) run a slow repair
4) try again

Once you align your mavs you need to reset the TGP otherwise it will be offset.

Hi!
Freezes are a PITA for sure, but they're always caused by something in the core of DCS. I can't do anything in the mission editor to induce a freeze or crash, nor can I do anything to prevent it from happening.
Try running a slow repair and if that doesn't help, please send the log to ED, so they can decipher it, because I have no clue what they say 😞

the group will respect the briefed timings for setting course whether you’re ready or not.

Make sure you use the UHF button to transmit. Easy comms are forced off in the campaign

If you do a search here you’ll see it it happens sometimes, it’s a core dcs bug that randomly pops up and cannot be fixed from within the mission editor.
you can open and play any specific stage directly from the campaign’s folder
also try removing all your unofficial mods and running a repair

Paco will of course not be immortal until you're supposed to shoot him but that's after the fight's on call.

and then you flipped it back on, and then nothing else ( which would be surprising because you should be hearing chatter from Dallas flight without doing anything extra.
He will check out with Blackjack after this, if you're at CESAR - actually you can miss it by 6 miles either side. My guess would be you missed it by more than that, because your INS alignment degraded, drifted with time (normal), you didn't verify via TACAN, and/or you went for a stored heading alignment (don't). It's not an F-16, the INS is not accurate, and it gets worse with time (and g-s)

maybe some hotas switches that you have assigned are shutting it down automatically? Just guessing, because it's not the mission for sure...
try running a repair anyway. A slow one.

Roll to the outside, and try to maintain visual as much as you can. You usually need a lag roll when you pull the pipper on and realize it's not a good firing position, so you're likely not in lag pursuit anymore

It's the same in the F-14. Remember the stab aug check? The roll stab wants to stabilize the jet. That's all good when flying cross country. But as explained on the fam flight, at high AoA you roll with the rudder. You basically want to destabilize the jet, even kind of depart it sometimes (event 3). So you'd be constantly fighting the roll stab system if it was on.
