  1. hi i use pimax 5k and with small fov all is fine i tryed to rise my fov and adapt the zoom via end /pgup button but after 30 mins i gave up on backed to small fov if someone have some experience with adapting in higher fovs plz share :) just a small sidemark i played a mission in mig21 with very bad weather (dynamic) and had some artefacts
  2. more screenshots looks like we are limeted on 3 screenshoots per post but i have 2 more 4. same as 3. just mission pause 5. same as on second but i put pimax refresh rate to 90 ( instead of 64)
  3. hi just some new screenshoots first one is stock system - 0 oc here you see that the system didnt boost (turbo) but cpuframetime is bad and couldt need some boost (vr set to 64hz , just to understand the frametimes) second system is oc at 4x4400mhz (also gpu is oc) low vr settings (pd1 , pimax 1 , steam 69%) third system as above my playsettings (pd1 , pimax 1.75 , steam 22% ) there is no real different in performence but much better clarity in hmd all screensoots are make in singeplayer on (stolen :music_whistling: ) Georgia Reign - Dynamic PVE WAR - v3.0.74 which gives are realy good nightvision btw and coming after a time of pause i know im a bit offtopic now but i dont wana open a new thread see ya
  4. thx repsol and yeah im german :) i use pimax and have dcs pd on 1 /pitool on 1.75 and steam on 20% i believe this are settings 4 singleplayer and bring me 40-50 frames on my most played missions over some hours i testest something and come to the reason that my cpu is just to old best way to see his bottleneck is to check cpu frametime and when this frametime reaches 40< the gpu is out and the cpu useage is a bad indicator for cpu frametime even with 60-70% cpuusage i have very bad cpuframetimes so as a smallstepp i disabled the threaded cores on my cpu and overclocked the 4 real cores to 4500mhz which brings a bit better performence next step is a new cpu so thx 4 your time everyone who has problems in multiplayer shouldt check gpucoreclock and frametimes see ya
  5. hi there so fps (vr) in multiplayer are 10-20 in singleplayer around 40 just check screenshoots first in multiplayer second singleplayer ... thx 4 help
  6. hi i read somewhere in that forum change maxfps = 180; in graphics.lua to 10000 i did this without saving orginal and without reading graphics_readme.txt so i just reedit the graphics.lua and now im stuck to 10fps even in the menu i renamed graphics.lua in hope that the game is rewrite it but the game just crash plz help 10 frames are not funny ^^
  7. hi same problem here and i found the reason my gpu didnt clock up so in singleplayer gpu boost to max clock after mission is loaded (2000+) in multiplayer gpu chills at default clock (1365) testet in vr and non vr (in nor vr gpu jumps around 1500) gpu driver is up2date (436.15) system is amd 8320e @4ghz (clocked - no turbo etc) rtx 2060 windows 10 16gig mem ssd for system and game (same ssd)
  8. WOW thats what i call zoom ! rly rly nice work and a big thx big improvment 4 pimax 5k
  9. pimax at night do you have some experience with nightflights (without nightvision) ?
  10. hi what is the right position ?
  11. i had to set write protection on the *.json im not sure about rebooting - i will try it and you say my steamVR resolution should change after that ?
  12. i use beta and have a very good sound at all just one think is crazy - the sound when the gear is going in and out that typical toc toc toc isnt rly present anymore :( but the rest is fine 4 me
  13. i did it but still get that strange resolution whatever - i just turn it back because id had 0 impact funfact - i can delete stereo.lua and the game still works (without writing a new one ... ) maybe we can compare some steamVR datas ? actually i have 3164x2704 (1.17 ratio) on normal fov
  14. jey bad news :) but it is what it is maybe we(i) can hope 4 the future what i rly dont get is the fact that they buildt this i mean this is a no go 4 me - the plane just go out when you are running topspeed wtf i wouldt say thats a ruse , or its just 4 the exportversion you cant tell me that this is imposible to fix juts look what they did with the flaps
  15. hellas didnt find any controller 4 that funktion so its only useable over cockpitmouse ? that wouöt be bad news i wouldt like to see it on an axis or atleast to controll it over buttons thx 4 help
  16. hi did this and had no real visual impact maybe because steamVR show a different resolution pitool 1.25 ,steamVR on 30% it shows 2636x2252 with normal FOV thats not nearly in the range from you any idea ?
  17. hi there i fly this missions serveral times and cant end it you have to protect an strikeplane (su24m) which has to attack and commandpost but the bombs always hit a nearby bridge so "Every day the marmot greets" i fly the german cmp from 02/2018 thx 4 help ...
  18. interesting didnt know that i mean i was reading something about 6dof in pimaxstats - but didnt find it anymore thats a huge thing some years ago i gave a shit on 6dof but know i dont wana be miss that can someone just give me a housenumber of the cost from that lighthousestuff 4 6dof just basics - no controllers , no big roomscale thx
  19. hi there im thinking about bying that 5k from pimax but im nore sure about the 6dof tracking i testet the 4k and i had to reset calibration every 5mins so plz tell me something about the sensors and your experience thx
  20. Wow, are you using a Pimax 4K? That may explain it. The 1 to 1 tracking is such a departure from TrackIR. There's really no need to explain the difference. no i use the good old dk2 :) but i tryd the pimax 4 some days and i need 6dof ...
  21. and what is the "fundamental" difference" also in "real live" the cockpitmirrors are more usefull i think in vr i can " with luck " spot a misslelaunch
  22. like you i dont mess me with "real pilots" i mess me with other online pilots which have track ir and have absolut no problem with checking 6 so plz bring ya troll to home :joystick:
