I´ve read that interview a long time ago but i thought it was a Ja 37. Then the Ja 37 would have no problem passing mach 2, with the bigger engine. And the AJS could probobly do just over mach 2.

Did you change it in DCS or in the Oculus settings?

I increased the IPD to 67mm, it´s a little better but I still see dubble HUD´s. But I try not to focus my eyes on the hud, just following the lines and markers on the HUD.

Ok, I will test that setting. No my eyesight is fine. The problem is more like if you hold a finger in front of your nose and focus your eyes on that, you get cross eyed and its not very comfortable.:cry: Hmm, thank´s i will try that, and see if I need a higher or lower setting. I measured my pupils 65mm center to center.

I think I have found a good setup for my 1070 now, the fps is good and I have a decent view of the terrain and targets. The only thing bothering me is focus on the HUD, I have to focus my eyes so I dont see dubble, It´s a little painful for my eyes.

I got my Rift S a few days ago and its such a cool experience :) I will never go back to flat screen. But the graphics isn´t that great, especially the landscape. Do you have any tips on settings for my 1070 card? I will save some money and get a 2080. But in the meantime, what settings should I go for, and what should I avoid? I had to turn MSAA off, and running 8x AA from the Nvidia program, but i´m not sure it makes any difference.

There is one thing i don't get when using VR, Do I switch from my TV to the Rift S, or is my gpu running both my 4k TV and Rift at the same time? I guess that would be a big loss of perfomance.

I will try that, It sound very practical for radio in singel player, talking to groun crew, AWACS etc. I just ordered the Rift S, looking forward to it :) But we don't have it in Sweden yet, so I have to wait about 2 weeks :music_whistling: for it.

Thanks for some great replys! I think I will get one and try :) Is there any way to see the keyboard and mouse or is it totaly closed? I have a Warthog, but I still use the keyboard a little.

Hey Guys I'm thinking about getting the Rifts S, that would be my first VR experience. Right now i'm using TrackIr on a 65" TV. But i'm not sure my 1070 gpu will be enough, I only fly Viggen at caucasus right now. I just upgraded the rest of my computer to I9 9900K and DDR4 3200 32gb. But will it still be a cooler exeriece then sitting by a flat TV, and would it be possible to read all the instruments and radar? /Oscar

Yes, I think I will spend most time in "SPA" and "BER" mode.:music_whistling:

I think that joystick is for the radar, and there is a smaller joystick on the right side for the missile.

I'm also waiting for the Viggen right now. Here is a cockpit picture with some lights on.
