The screen on the su-25t is so dark i cannot identify or effectively lock ground targets even in bright daytime sunshine. There are no controls or settings that I have found that will lighten the screen image. It wasn't always this dark. What am I doing wrong? Anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

I fully believe that DCS has a problem they aren't capable of solving. As BLUFOR aircraft technology advances, it is incorporated into the simulation. REDFOR remains locked in time with no technological advancement. Graphics and video performance improves but the aircraft capabilities remain the same. DCS is self limiting its future earning potential. I, for one, do not intend to ever buy another modern BLUFOR aircraft. But as a dedicated REDFOR pilot, the servers are limited where REDFOR can actually put up a fight. An SU-27 with R-27ER missiles is still a significant underdog against an F-18 or F-15E missile truck loaded with AIM-120's (and the missile performance is improved regularly). The JF-17 could possibly be improved to include a helmet sight and better engines that don't smoke like a chimney, but i doubt it will be updated. The SD-10 missile is regularly updated to reduce performance because " we want realistic performance". Translated that means it is too good. The only place where the sim really has a chance to move forward is cold war and WWII. But for some reason no one has developed a Japanese ZERO. Explain that. Sorry, got off topic. Let me conclude by saying the new MIG-29 will be the same old MIG-29 with better graphics. It will sale for $75 and people will buy it for some odd reason. It will have the same old lame R-77 missile and no datalink. Without GCI, it will be sitting duck against BLUFOR. Some players will make a case about realism and how it contributes to the sim but in reality it will be another expensive towed target for BLUFOR to shoot its space age, new and improved, notch proof AIM-120s at! Sorry for the rant.......

Serhadi..... I have been unable to fix the IC problem. The HSI file is getting flagged on my computer as well, but it is required to make the module work. I have no idea what to do next. I have pretty much given up on it. We seem to be the only 2 people in the world that have this problem. I love this module but I cant fly it in multiplayer because it fails IC.

Raven, You're right, it would be competitive in a server like that. Unfortunately you don't see many of those servers listed and only about zero of them have anyone flying BLUFOR. BLUFOR players prefer to dominate the less technically advanced REDFOR so they seldom fly in those servers. DCS has a definite problem due to less advanced aircraft on REDFOR. Each update they improve BLUFOR aircraft while almost completely ignoring REDFOR. Early cold war and WWII are better for REDFOR... but less profitable for DCS. I fear that in a few more years almost all servers will be BLUFOR only with AI opposition. It seems to be the trend already. Most likely this new FF MIG-29 will not be a huge hit. I doubt it will be a big seller at all. It will have no place where it actually fits in. It is too bad because it is one of the most widely used aircraft in the world. I think even Germany flies an updated version of it. There really is no excuse for not making it a more updated version.......except it would make BLUFOR players mad. Sorry about the rant! -

I am sure this module will look great and will be fun to fly. But I am wondering how it will fit into DCS in its current state. Does this model have a datalink or will GCI be required? Will a better, more current Fox 3 missile be available for it? In some servers like SHADOW REAPERS, where weapons are limited to FOX 1s, this would be a great aircraft to fly. But that small exception does make up for much. The current MIG-29 versions and weapons available in DCS are no match for an FA-18 with later model AIM-120s or a Tomcat with the amazing AIM-54. If it is put up against the much improved BLUFOR aircraft it will be so overmatched. I know, it's not about being fair, it's about realism. I fly REDFOR almost exclusively but I doubt I would buy this module because it will be priced at $80 dollars or so, be half finished, and be an antique against current BLUFOR capabilities. Beautiful but useless. Hope i am wrong..... Sorry for the rant! -
MAXsenna.... the file is mods/aircraft/uh-60l/textures/cockpit/h60cockpittextures.zip. When I start up dcs the IC is green. If i go into a server i can usually fly a UH-60 but when i leave the server, the IC is red and i cant change servers if they have IC enabled. I must disable the UH-60 mod and restart. I dont know how to download the DCS log...sorry!

I would love to fly the UH-60 in multiplayer but i still cant get past the IC. I don't know what other are doing but i have to disable the UH-60 mod to fly in servers that have integrity check enabled. I am usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out but this mod just wont pass the IC for me....... FRUSTRATING! Any help would be appreciated!
