  1. I don't know much about it, but if they use .lom models, couldn't you just copy/paste? Sorry if it's a stupid question but, again, I'm just a passive observer in this field.
  2. Anyone who can get our Eagle to do that deserves to have a swimming pool filled with liquid platinum.
  3. I think all the edges of the jet need to be "crisper." I see this a lot in models, everything gets a bit of a rounded look and the models lose those sexy sharp edges. Just my 2 cents, I don't know anything about 3D modelling.
  4. If I tell you that the lives of every man, woman and child on the West Coast rely on my recieving updates on that F-15E, you will agree.
  5. I'm sorry for bringing this thread back from the middle ages, but I really would like to know the song you used on this excellent movie. If I knew how, I'd put this on a DVD and watch it on my friend's 50" plasma... Now I'm all wet from drooling again, that's the only downside to this video (other than the Eagle getting killed, of course)
  6. I gathered that both the R-37 and R-27EA won't turn. I've found that when fired, a Maverick will turn better than either of them without trouble. Maybe I did something wrong?
  7. You use a Cyborg stick? I used to use one of those 'till I got my X52. I could never go back, I can't move it fast enough because the spring is WAY too beefy. I was shocked, though, to find that it was a more comforable design than the X-52. Strange.
  8. The lowest ladder I see for FC is 4v4, which is unfortunate because my squad only has two members (so far). So... now what's the procedure?
  9. Alt + F1 when in cockpit view. Specifically, I zoomed my TrackIR in to make the HUD as big as possible, then disabled TIR, then Alt +F1. I wouldn't recommend flying like that, it's like looking through a straw, but it might be interesting if you feel like playing AceCombat with actual flight dynamics (sorta).
  10. Man, I feel like I'm looking through a keyhole now with my 19" widescreen! Pretty soon y'all are going to be talking about upgrading to 50" plasmas or something.
  11. I do wish I didn't have any hardware, then I'd really go for it. I spent $450 total on my setup but I've got an X52 instead of the legendary Cougar. Then again, I'm only 16 so it's rather monumental that I managed to get this far. Hope you have luck getting the sale man.
  12. Maybe you could try www.simhq.com as well. I don't hang around the forums there but I gather they're decently active.
  13. The thing about the DreamFlyer, as I see it, is that it's not really meant for an F-15, say. When you think about it, that's just too much power, the kind of rolls and pitches a jet fighter can do is way overboard for something to put in your house. However, if you were big into flying 737 in MSFS, or C172 or similar, you would be in for a treat, because that's all the motion you need. It would also be okay for a helo too, because I don't think you're going to be doing too many barrel-rolls and immelmanns in a Ka-50.
  14. Alright, now say that a squadron [cough, mine, cough] wishes to be a guns-only organization. Is it possible to do that somehow? Still pretty fuzzy on how this whole thing works. 1 vs 1 sounds like a great thing to me, almost all my experience is 1v1 and there can be some really amazing dogfights in that kind of situation.
