the gloves I have do not have haptic feedback although they have now developed it, think you can tell the difference between wood and metal, hot and cold, round and square but still being perfected. When I used my gloves before you had to look at it and switch, like using mouse except you didn't need to catch the mouse first and anyway even in the real aircraft you would still have to look at the switches to locate the one you want. I do not know how dcs/CaptoGlove have configured operation in the new implantation, we will just have to wait and see.

I have had my gloves for about 6 months now and do not think that at the moment you can use them in DCS as they are still not fully implemented into DCS CaptoGlove still testing as far I am aware least that what they reported to me a few days ago. I did try them with another program not long after getting them and they work great but I primarily bought them for DCS and I am sure they will be really effective. I really want hem to work with the in cockpit HOTAS as well whether combined with a real Hotas or not in VR. I have not really played DCS much since I got my VR setup as it looks so good in there compared to a monitor that there is no comparison, the only hang-up is not being able to see the keyboard whilst in VR and I am not a touch typist or have a photographic memory. I have every confidence that when DCSteam and CaptoGlove have finished in next few days (hopefully) that we will have the missing link to make DSC in VR the best experience ever. Probably be better than some £500.00 per hour flight sims like they use to train professional pilots. We just have to remember that patience is a virtue and DCS and CaptoGlove is really testing mine patience.

working Hi! Don't know if I am behind the times but tried the oculus touch controllers with DCSWORLD AT THE WEEKEND AND THEY WERE WORKING. I WAS ABLE TO ACCTUALY FLICK SWITCHES AND THEY WORKED. THANK YOU DCS. Would it be possible to integrate some kind of grasping motion to hold collective/cyclic sticks or to implement the separate small oculus controller which has a type of joystick/gamepad motion on it or even a Bluetooth gamepad.

Touch control I would like to add my penny worth to the conversation please. I got my new touch controllers yesterday but have not had the time to plug them in yet. I must say I think with support this is the perfect partner for DCS, whilst I do not know yet for sure whether the controlled "HANDS" will allow you to grab the Joystick or Collective controls or throttles I think it should be possible and if you can flick switches then surely this would give a more realistic effect and do away with the need for a separate HOTAS altogether. I disagree with all the misery guts on here who seem to talk down anything they do not personally like or own saying it is no good for the purpose of a realistic feel to flying one of the aircraft in DCS. Oculus Touch has just arrived let give it and DCS a chance and experiment with it, I for one wish we could have had this sort of stuff forty odd years ago, it is amazing technology that allows you to fly a state of the art aircraft in a realistic way for almost the cost of 1 hour in a professional simulator. STOP THROWING GUM IN THE WORKS with negative comments. :pilotfly:

I agree with what you are saying but with the aircraft static on the ground the vane is not moving at all and yet still reads Quite a large margin really. Also why is there two separate / different readings between the external view ribbon and the Cockpit gauge of the same aircraft in the same position, surely these readings should be the same.

Hi! All, Sorry if anyone has asked this before. When doing a Cold start in the A10-C on the ramp the AoA indicator shows between 7 & 20 when sitting perfectly level on the ground all controls at neutral. If using Helios the gauge in helios confirms the same reading, however switch to F2 view and the ribbon readout at bottom of screen shows between -2 & +3 . Anyone know why this is and does the real aircraft show an assumed AoA when sitting level & no movement.

Hi! Accipiter, not 100% sure but think you have to ask the ground crew at start of mission to supply NV goggles, hope this helps but should say in the manual if you look for NVG.

Would just like to say thank you to all the knowledgeable selfish gits on this forum for helping out a fellow user, I hope some day you need some help and everyone ignores you. FOR THOSE WONDERING THE SAME QUESTION ABOUT TRIPLE SCREEN DCS AND HELIOS ON THE FOURTH MONITOR THE ANSWER IS YES - IT IS NOW POSSIBLE TO DO IT WITH NVIDEA. I HAVE TRIED IT WITH 2 X GTX 970 CARDS AND SET-UP WAS REALLY EASY.

Hey Guys don't be shy, I'm sure there must be someone out there using multi-screens with Helios on the fourth monitor all I want to know can it be done using Nvidea cards.

Thanks for reply. Yes I know all three monitors need to be the same & they are, what worries me is the fourth monitor - although the monitor size is ok will Nvidea let me also run Helios on it.

Hi! I am planning to get a better rig - can anyone tell me is it yet possible to run DCS world 2 + Helios on 3 monitors + 1 touchscreen using Nvidia graphics or do I need to stick with AMD. All help appreciated.:doh:

There is a fault with the relocation mission - it has been known about for a long time. You cannot get far in the mission because at some point it was altered incorrectly, the collective is stuck half way up and you start flying in the air instaed of starting from scratch and getting permission to get airborne - thus the mission is reported as failed. This broken mission has nnow been released in the 1.5 version without being repaired what is going on DCS ??? - I used to enjoy playing this mission as it is good for practice of navigation and flight attitude. I can use my version from 1.2 but with every update it is replaced with the broken version again.CAN YOU PLEASE REPAIR AS IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL BLACK SHARK AND IT WILL STILL WORK INTHE LATEST OFFERING IF YOU FIX IT. sORRY IF tHIS SEEMS SILLY BUT i DID PAY FOR THIS AS PART OF THE PACKAGE.:mad:

yes, the relocation mission supplied is broken , starts in air and should start on ground. Took original miz file from my standard 1.2 vers dcsworld which starts on ground. will attach if required. Just looked at Ka50 in the encyclopedia and the artwork looks the same (missing textures) even the tyres are camouflaged.

Just tried to load the RE-LOCATE mision and it will not load just hangs on the loading screen. The mission can be flown from the editor though and the aircraft has missing texture all over. :helpsmilie:

Maybe this should be sticky'd . Whilst reading through the Forum to try and solve my control problem I was surprised by how many others suffer similar problems. Mine was even though the Shark would fly and hover reasonably well I still seemed to be unable to control it at different times, this has led to me leaving the sim for months at a time and going back to it eventually for a fresh start. I am using Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog and Saitek rudder pedals. What I eventually noticed once I found out about the mini-hud was that when I moved the joystick it seemed to move the rudder and when operating the collective (Hotas Throttle Levers) they also affected the rudder and the cyclic. After a few hours spent trying to diagnose what was wrong I found what I had taken for granted all this time - in options -controls - KA50 Sim - Axis Commands , the Collective - Cyclic Pitch -Cyclic Roll & rudder inputs were all duplicated by default across all three control devices. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THOSE THAT DO NOT APPLY. This is probably the first place to look if you have a control problem, I hope this is a help to at least one person.

I have been trying to get the update to work for over 3 months, good luck
