    Topic is about IHDASS misalligement.
So when the IHDASS is misalligned in VR so do it not affect the boresight adjusment procedure?
I think the IHDASS recticle has to match the yellow circles or do i need only to centre the circles in the scope?

This topic is not about EGI alignment at all, it is also not about how to boresight the IHADSS. This is about the IHADSS showing too high for some specific VR setups, nothing to do with the startup, or the procedures of the module itself. I still do not understand exactly what your issue is, but I strongly recommend you to watch a startup video and see how they boresight the IHADSS and follow along. The reticle has to be on the center yellow dot, and all the yellow circles should be at the same distance from each other and not outside the scope.

I have the AH64D since few days and now i am running into a problem which is probably connected to this topic.

I am using a Reverb G2 and during coldstart i need to do the EGI alligement.
And now when i allign the yellow circles so the IHDASS rectile do not match the centre of the circles.
To be honest i dont know what do i need to do because ive triec to centre the rectile and ignore the circles but doesnt matter what i do the automatic startup procedure do not continue.
And before you ask, yes i confirm the boresight adjustment on thr right MFD.

So how i can centre the IHDASS properly in VR?

I don't think this is connected to this issue. Also I did not understand what the problem is. The yellow circles have to be centered in the scope and your IHADSS center cross has to be on the middle dot. But probably create a different topic, this one is not about boresighting the IHADSS.

yeah. releasing this patch with new fcr freatures but without working fcr for cpgs is ... uhm strange?

Yeah indeed, quite annoying because we had missions planned over the weekend, lots of wasted time for multiple people. I don't know why you would release this patch, they could have released the phantom and patch the apache together with the kiowa in two weeks. Pretty frustrating all around.

  4. Same issue here, the aircraft is basically unflyable in multicrew. The waypoints don't get synced, the FCR did not sync properly (was not scanning for CPG, but scanning fine for pilot) and the acq did not sync.

This mod is very good, but since I updated the game version to 2.9.3, it doesn't work anymore. I don't know how to configure the parameters of the mod, or does this mod not work in the latest version?

Same, can anyone comment if it still works for them in the latest version?

  6. This has been a problem for over two years, for me the ihadss position is too high on my old quest 2, reverb g2, and pimax crystal, as well as different operating system, leading me to believe that it just depends on how you wear your headset (based on head shape etc.). In my opinion there needs to be an adjustment for this, as many people have been reporting it forever. But yeah, ED knows about it but just hasn't done anything since they are unable to reproduce.

    What is DCAF?
DCAF - Digital Coalition Air Force is a virtual Air Force established in 2017. Our focus is on community, enjoyment, and immersion. Combined under the DCAF umbrella are multiple squadrons for the harrier, hornet, viper and tomcat.
We are primarily in the European timezone and hold our operations on Thursday evenings at 1830GMT/BST. With an expansive and powerful training platform BATS, we ensure that all our members, irrespective of their skill levels, receive proper guidance and challenges. Every pilot undergoes our V1 course to prepare for operations, with the opportunity for aircraft-specific additional training. At the end of our V1 training, student pilots become line pilots and will receive a callsign and custom livery. Thanks to our skilled controllers, who receive their own specialized training, we can immerse ourselves in large operations with many moving parts.

    What is 20sqn?
20 Squadron has been an integral part of DCAF since its inception. Our pilots, many of whom have been flying the Harrier since its release, can offer you a wealth of experience and knowledge. Within DCAF we have multiple unique capabilities that the mission commander can make use of. The harrier enables us to perform farp ops and carrier ops making us very versatile. We also train at night, using the harriers excellent night vision capabilities. With a large payload for an aircraft its size, the harrier allows us to perform a wide range of missions. For example, we train for deep strikes, runway denial and importantly CAS with a human JTAC. Additionally, many of us have a keen interest in helicopters and ground pounding in general. If you thrive on the excitement of low-altitude operations, you'll fit right in!

Here is a snippet of our basic air to surface course:

We believe that we can offer a unique experience that you will not get flying anywhere else. Nothing compares to all our squadrons coming together in a well planned operation.

Hey, sorry for the tag but I did some testing on this issue so maybe it’s useful.

    What I see:
IHADSS is too high in my view, looking straight ahead in VR makes me look through the line of sight box in the bottom of the display instead of the center cross. Problem: The heading tape is very hard to read and require me to look up with my eyes, causing eyestrain. If I had to guess it’s about 20 degrees too far up. It is outside the „sweet spot“ of the headset so also blurry.

    What I’m using:
    Windows 11, ryzen 5600x, 3080ti, reverb g2

    What I tried:
    DCS repair & additional files
    Disable Mods
SteamVR or OpenXR looks the same
Cross eye recovery tool disabled, headset.lua in saved games deleted

I hope somebody can help, I really l love the apache!

  9. I have been a part of DCAF's 20sqdn for a couple of years now and could not be happier with it.

I used to fly the harrier mostly on public multiplayer servers like georgia at war or blueflag, but I was getting fed up with the lack of communication and coordination. When I joined DCAF I was impressed with the level of training and resources available. Also the care and planning that go into thursday ops is remarkable, from mission builder to squadron COs to controllers and pilots.

I feel that DCAF is great for me because the squadron manages to straddle the line between serious milsim and fun flying. We try to be professional during a mission and do our best with communication and executing the plan, but we also have a relaxed atmosphere otherwise. There are great resources available, but you can take it at your own pace, and you don't have to call anyone Sir 😉

  10. Looking at other harriers in multiplayer you can see that the engine blades "stutter" or "lag". Every two seconds they stop for half a second. This bug can be replicated easily, my whole squadron has it and other people on hoggit have confirmed they see it as well.

I am on latest openbeta. Mods do not affect this. .trk file not needed I think, easy to reproduce 🙂

If you need a video, let me know.
