You could update the year to 1996, instructions further back in the thread. However I believe today's open beta update fixed this. -
I'm not playing multiplayer yet because I still cannot consistently land my aircraft (never mind not having picked a 'main' aircraft yet), but I want to throw my hat in and say that I too am interested in fixes.
