Yes, that's a stock explosion. I can't remember but the flash seen could be a mod I made; I forget if I have it installed :D edit: no that's not stock effects. I do have my mod installed.

Female ATC is a real person now; my wife :thumbup: Test wingman voice; a friend of mine. Its not setup yet but gives you an idea having different voices. Many things in the ATC etc are not working; that's a game issue. Looking for an other wingman voice if anyone is interested. JTAC voice is about 50% finished; thanks Spetz! Notice the ATC snipet is wrong. She states Batumi, Pontiac 11, it should be Pontiac 11 Batumi. That's a code of script error.

No, that's not what I meant. I'd like to see better explosions too, but there needs to be a balance for performance :)

Explosions are not great but there has to be a trade off because ps effects can kill fps.

Player and ATC portions done. JTAC is being worked on by Spetz (Thanks buddy!) . A couple of player voice segments need adjusted, but here's a sample. (inbound and request landing are two that need adjusted) Need voice for the Tanker.

Great idea, but beyond my understanding of the inner workings :) From what I can see the comms system is not very advanced for a modern sim; not being rude but I would like to have seen something like FS or even Falcon.

I was hoping to not do a complete reinstall. I'm not too concerned about a texture issue. For me if there's no ctds and things work I'm happy. :)

Just tried it. Started out nice but then random fps losses and textures failing to load. Not show stoppers. Fixed by turning on panel lights.

If you'd like to do a voice I'm looking for somone to do JTCA voice. I've got ATC finished and someone is doing AWACS voice. So I need someone for JTAC, and the players voice.

There are a few different ways to speed them up, but not a priority for me right now :) Mixing battle sounds into JTAC has begun.

ATC almost done...just some fine tuning. AWACS is being done with a different voice, and players voice will be different. Vid just shows ATC

Could someone explain the benefit in going through all of this button crunching in a hot area when all you need to do is mark the data symbol JTAC sends you? What am I missing?

They can post there all they want. I'm saying please post info on the forum as well because there are many of us that do not have Twitter accounts and have no intention of getting one. Those sites are not free; don't kid yourself. They are grabbing informaiton about you. Why do you think a dumb site like FB is has been valued more then Boeing; a company that actually makes a physical product? Why do you think companies like Radian6 exist. Anyway, its fine if Ed posts on Twitter but please post on the forum too. :)

Please post these things in the forum. Why have 3 different areas for information? Facebook and Twitter are a PITA. :)
