Anyone know how to switch to short NWS for maneuvering on the carrier? I searched the forum but nothing came up.

That doesn't prevent future issues with downloading on release days. If you think the update and Huey were bad wait until you release a fast mover. Some planning should be considered to prevent the dismal download rates experienced by most yesterday. Just a thought. :)

Seems like my Warthog HOTAS is always pulled back causing the blades to hit and shear off. Stick moves around alot also. I've recalibrated in Windows but did solve the issue

Is there a way to calibrate so the blade doesn't hit the ground and shear off everytime? Stick seems to move all of the place (Warthog HOTAS) I've calibrated it in Windows but still the same issue. Looks like the stick is pulled back to the max and the main blade break off.

I'm sorry but I'm not going to seed. The lack of server capacity should be an embarassment for ED/DCS and has made me angry. Hell, ask some of us with servers to mirror for you when you're expecting big demand, but more importantly buy some better servers or something. The lack of capacity is rediculous. 5-10kbs BTW, I would have provided a mirror for North America.

I got it downloaded and now it will not install. Keeps telling me 1.2.3 ### is already installed and 1.2.4### cannot install because some mods won't work. Got me stumped, so I'm trying the autoupdate, which should be an embarrassment for ED/DCS. It crawls at a mere 10kbs. edit: I'm getting frustrated with it and when that happens I usually ask for a refund.

Yep, I switched to torrent and I'm getting 6.5mb rate now.

Downloading and seeding. Good rate from torrent 3.4mb Server rates are terrible 10kb.

They really need to look at more mirrors. I've had to restart the downloads 4 times and the rates are 9kb because I can't access the US mirrors. I am not very happy about the download rates in this day and age to be getting 9-10kb is rediculous.

The US servers are not working. Really need to look at more mirrors on release day. Download rates are horrible and the North American servers don't appear to work.

When I try to purchase the Huey my cart just states "recount". Then it keeps asking me to login. I login and all looks okay untill I select purchase. Then it indicates I'm not logged in and the cart just says "recount" instead or buy or proceed. cheers

I am sure FO was never a scam. AFAIK, it has not been canceled either.

It was one of the 3rd part dev guys who work on it. Not just a forum member.

Originally it was Saturday and then changed to Wednesday, but I digress. Be nice to see it soon since I'll be away most of the summer and leaving in a few days. Of course the brighter side if a late release is the case I won't buy it until I come back and by that time the price will be reduced. :thumbup:

IIRC it was last Friday one of the dev/reps said Saturday (13th) unless there were issues. Not a problem since these things happen but its Thursday so an update would be nice. In addition Sim site stating it is out and the press release came from DCS. Out or not is not a big deal but I prefer to have a date so I don't have to check the site often.

Since they gave a release date and missed the date, it would be prudent of them to give an update or updated eta.

I wondered that too. BMS has those little scratches.

I like a mix of flight activity, but I have to say in real life I much rather fly in a helicopter. I was fixed wing pilot, but always enjoyed a chance to get into a rotary winged bird.
